If you're looking for a cheap replacement phone, try getting a pre-paid Verizon phone at Target? Maybe that could be used?

Check w/Verizon also if you're already a customer. I had a Kyocera Slider that died on me, and they sold me a (refurbed) replacement for $50. I wasn't due for renewal or anything. I thought that was reasonable.
