I've heard they're pretty shitty because the way they transform isnt as fluid and easy as other Transformers. I also heard the forms are a bit awkward looking.

I have one of the darth vader transformers. It looks good as a ship, not so good as the sith lord. Still, it's a DARTH VADER TRANSFORMER so I had to buy it. The retail price is only 16 or 17 and wal mart carries them (although I havn't seen the vader one in stock lately). I keep it next to my darth tader and lego darth vader with the glowing lightsaber.
