Looking to maybe get a new receiver sometime soon. My old 8 year old Sony seems to be on its last legs. Seems like the sound is no where near is rich, plus the right rear doesn't work at all. If anyone could suggest reputable sites I would gladly appreciate it. Only place I refuse to buy from is Ebay. The model I'm looking at mostly is the Onkyo TX-SR503 (http://www.us.onkyo.com/model.cfm?m=TX-SR503&class=Receiver&p=i)

You get your receiver for $239.99 + you also get an Onkyo Docking System for iPod that you could probably sell off if you don't want it.
Amazon or Crutchfield are also worth considering...

Didn't think of Amazon and Crutchfield. Then again, I haven't shopped with Amazon in years. I know about the deal at CC, only thing is that I don't care for the ipod dock as I don't have one, nor any interest in one. Plus I don't do mail in rebates for that amount. Used to do tech support for Panasonic several years ago, and used to get calls all the time about the problems.
Probably the best deal is a refurbished model straight from Onkyo for 200...
Edit: I'm thinking I should just say screw it and get a 5.1 because its a lot cheaper. Biggest thing I want is Pro-Logic II (damn you Sony for using that instead of DD for PS2 games). Anyhoot, if anyone has suggestions for makes and models that are 200 or so, definatly give me a heads up
