I have never had any problems with my gamecube until I bought NFSMW. The first time I tried to load I was told my memory card was corupt. Couldn't load anything I've saved. Every other game I have works fine. WTF!

Two words: Electronic Arts.
I used to adore the FIFA series and played it incessantly. Then came FIFA 2006, and damn it if I can get three more than two games in one sitting with that buggy POS. It's so crash-prone that it renders the game unplayable. Tried it on two different 'Cubes with the same result. I know that doesn't help you with NFSMW, but I'm still pissed about FIFA and wanted to rant.
Bottom line: F EA. F them in the A.
