That ad is on Yahoo! almost every other day.
I'd actually want a SLVR over a RAZR.

slvr rules. razr is an overrated and overhyped phone. that phone is going to be like the common phone everywhere like the nokia 5190 around 2002

DO NOT GET A RAZR they are the worst phones ever, just 2 weeks ago on CNN motorola admited that most of it's razors on the market dropped calls and had interfearance problems and they were fixing this on the new ones but EVERYONE with an old model would not be compensated or be able to get their phones repaired. I had loads of trouble w/ my first razr i got cingular to give me another one about 6 months after the first and the second phone had all the same problems, dropping calls, major interfearance (i'm talking major if the phone is in my husbands pocket across the room my computer speakers and TV speakers will get feedback 50% of the time and in the car the feed back comes through the radio speakers, sometimes even when the radio isn't on! not to mention if your in a call you can't seem to manipulat the menus... ie if your on the phone and someone wants to give you a phone number you cant put it into your phone book while your on the phone.
this is by far the worst phone i have ever had and I can't wait tell i can get a new one. Hubby wanted it for his birthday and god do we both regret it now. 80% of my calls drop during the conversation even though i have full signal.
pls pls pls don't buy this phone, get something better.... and trust me you can get off alot cheaper and get something alot nicer.
sorry needed to vent that one... oh and I contacted motorola for repair once they said they didn't feel my problem was covered but if i wanted to drive the phone to an authorized repair shop i could get it looked into... the nearest one was almost 4 hours from my house and i live darn close to silicon valley .... think about that.... anyway i could mail it in at my expense and expect to get it back within 4 weeks, the would not provide a phone to use in the mean time and suggested i buy or rent one while it was being repaired... and if it wasn't defective i would have to pay the worthless company even more...
ok, now i'm really done venting..... grrr motorola

I thought the radio interface problem was just a Cingular problem. Both my wife's cingular phone and mine do this. I have a Samsung and she has a Motorola.
I never had the interface on Sprint with Samsung or Motorola phones.
Do some models not do this?

I hate the razor phones as well and i have said it before and i will say it again, just that the people that have it don't want to admit it and are blinded by a little thin cellphone ! which in return feels like a freaking dvd case ! i just hate that there is so much credit where it doesn't belong !

I like my RAZR...I never have dropped calls. It was reported that the ones sold in February had an issue with dropping calls and shutting off, but that was a select few and they were recalled.
The SLVR seems horrible to me. I cannot have a phone that thin and not be a flip. I hate having to lock the phone when I put it in a pocket.
