Apparantly it's a 1 day sale too, so better get it on Thursday. Although I won't be surprised if it extends over the weekend

In WA, this was also mentioned in the Sunday Ad. It didn't say anything about 1 day. But it makes sense, as the new Ad comes out on Friday.

We save money on games out here but pay for it much more in many ways; taxes, gas, rent, education, etc..

OK the grass is always greener, you have MUCH better selections on old school games at gamestops and EB out on the east coast. The deals at fry's are very good yes, i think they are just to get people in the store tho, then they hope we buy more junk, BUT i I always just go and buy cheap games on sale, speaking of which, they had all the ssx3 games for all 3 systems but it was regular priced at $19.99. I think this is $29.99 at best buy, but $19.99 still sounds a bit high, if it was $9.99 i would have been all over it
EDIT, they also had tony hawk underground for ps2 for $25 but I already have the GC version so i passed.

Where did you find an actual Ad for Fry's. I usually go to the Renton, WA. Frys but they never seem to have flyers.
Thanks,

What are you guys talking about? The video game stores on the east coast suck. The only good ones are defender's store and two in chinatown. The rest are bad. BTW, Do you have to pay $3 for a gallon of gas? We are al suffering, but at least you guys get the games cheap.

Well I guess we are only paying $2.49 to $2.59 (a high of $2.79 in San Francisco) for low grade 91 octane when all other states get atleast 93. The median household cost here is still about half a million dollars and state school fees are going up 54% in the fall. Oooo and don't forget we have the highest sales tax in the country.
But anyways, good deal on Riddick, probably going to get that and pitch black dvd too.

I live in Seattle, and I get the Post-Intelligencer. The main weekly Ad, Fri-Tues, usually comes on Friday as a separate 2 pager. Then there can be additional ads usually at the back of the Sports page. This one was on the back of the Sunday Sports page. If you don't want to subscribe, just keep checking here.

anyone else going to pick up this game? i played the demo and wasn't super impressed, but it wasn't a bad game at all. Its also getting good reviews for various websites and magazines. However I am already goign to get Full Spec. Warrior, and don't really want to spend anymore money but $37.99 is a pretty good price.

I'm sure its a good game. I'm a little hesitant because it might come down to $30 somewhere in the next month, like at BB or CC. People may not buy this game because movie games tend to not be a good genre. Ah well, I guess I'll be going on Thursday and shelling out the cash.

Gamespot's Greg said it's the best and favorite game he have played this year, so it's likly it'll get 9.5+/10
