I paid $80 for a 1GB pro duo around 10 months ago and I thought that was going to be the best price for a long time. Its amazing how fast the price of pro duo memory cards are going down after the PSP was released.

God damn, i paid $250 for my 4 gig MS pro stick then $25 for a Duo converter, definately gonna sell it and buy one of these.

Amazon doesnt charge til it actually ships right? If i remember correctly both the 1 & 2 gigs got delayed by what, 3 months?

I'm glad I ordered right away. Although, I'm not real sure why I'm excited to pay $130.90 delivered for a memory card, even at 4GB. Might get more use if I directed that money for a 2nd PSP instead. But, it will be cool loaded it full of movies.

Mad it's got a fucking Lifetime warranty for crying out loud and it's $133 plus it's 4 Gig. That alone equals must purchase as well as the PSP's size though this is coming from the guy who wants to get a PSP and make it his midrange portable multimedia player. Seriously the PSP is your best bet for that screenwise, the games are just the icing on the cake though if you don't have to have a WS and games aren't as much an issue but you still want a portable multimedia device I'd suggest the GP2X as your best bet. Note I don't mention the Pocket Dish because of how expensive the best model is.

4GB is the largest stick supported by PSP, right?
Probably under the current FW on the PSP, yes, 4GB is it, since 8GB isn't even close to a reasonable price yet.

Once the 8GB gets to a reasonable price, I'm sure Sony will come out with new
PSP FW to allow the PSP to use an 8GB stick.

I missed out, but I just got a 2 for 75-80, so I'm not too bad off. I'm hoping by the time that PSX emulator comes out, we'll all be able to get 8's at $100ish or less. That would be pretty awesome.

it will require a firmware upgrade
but it is possible for the psp to register memory cards that are larger than 4gb in the future.
