Morrowind bounty help

I know it's an old game, but I've just started playing it last week. I took the Fighters' Guild mission to acquire the code book from a Thief. I ended up killing her, and all of the other Thieves' Guild Members in Balmora, and now I have a 6400 bounty on my ass. How can I get the bounty removed without being killed by the guards (they say I have a Death Warrant on my head, and won't give me the option to go to jail or pay off the bounty)?

Can I join another Thieves' Guild in another town, and try to get a member to take off the bounty?

idk what to do in your situation, but from now on, try using the Taunt persuasion. Its main point is to make the NPC attack you by pissing them off

i'd try that. use charm and calm humanoid spells.

also the fort the the east of balmora has a imperial guard that gives you a quest to kill 3 or 4 guys in balmora. he calls it a "blood bath". if you haven't completed that quest, you could try using the calm humanoid and charm spells to get the quest. once you complete it he takes care of your bounty.

i'm sorry, i can't help anymore. i don't want to relapse and be stuck in this game for another year like last time.
