Wonderful start of the day - was doing some homework and didn't realize my rabbit had found her way under my desk to where all the wires were. Suddenly, my right speaker starts to blank out and I hear some noise below. After screaming her out from there and checking the wires, my right speaker is shot.

So it looks like I need to get some new speakers. Anyone have suggestions for a moderately priced pair? Not interested so much in satellite configuration due to room constraints.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I know someone who had it at an old forum I went to.

I think there's a website somewhere that has a "___ on a bunny's head" archive.

The pancake picture is a simple google, but I couldn't find the archive thing. :)

Edit: I googled some more, found out the rabbit's name was Oolong and has a wiki devoted to it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oolong_(rabbit)

Here's an archive: http://www.$$$$alian.com/oolong/gallery/albums.php

Awww, he died back in 2003 :(. The guy tookpictures of its last moments alive. I hope this isn't considered cruel or anything to link to: http://sokaisha.hp.infoseek.co.jp/030108/030108.htm

Sams Club has Bose MediaMate Computer Speakers for around $50-$60 and they sound great if you have a sams club card.

Ya know, I keep thinking that they aren't very good becuase they are so cheap. So how good are they? I mean they beat every other 5.1 system in price.

DUDES! Not cool guys - I'm in the library right now and I just burst out laughing.

I showed my girlfriend and now she's all hot for bunnies w/ breakfast pastries on their heads. I will definitely be doing some pancake placing on my rabbit's head when I get back from my trip this weekend.

Thanks for the heads-up, I think I'm going to start collecting these kinds of pics. ;)

That rabbit is tres cute! It's sad to hear it pass away, although I am sure it must have had a lot of interesting and tasty hats during his lifetime. I personally wouldn't take loads of pics before my rabbit died as I'd prefer to look at pics when she's alive and well as opposed to sick and about to pass on. Happier memories rather than bitter sweet, I suppose.

Incidentally, she's eaten most of the Monopoly and Life box pictured in the background.

Oh that rabbit is DUE for a pancake'n.

Bonus points if you make the pancake bunny shaped. My mom used to do that.

Let's see if I can make a pancake that isn't burned pitch black, first. Then I'll move onto more advanced techniques - like using a knife. ;)

When you pour the batter on the skillet, you make a circle for the body, then sort of drip long ovals for the ears.

If you get good at it, go for the whole thing, complete with tail, feet, head, body, and ears.

Those Logitech speakers sound damn near as good as significantly more expensive sets. They have lots of bass and get very loud.

If you don't believe me, check out the 500+ reviews for both the 2.1 and 5.1 sets on newegg.
