There are many forums like CAG expect they're for general items... in fact, many times you'll see CAGers credit people from other forums.

There are other sites that try and be somewhat like CAG, but none of them are anywhere near as comprehensive as CAG. I actually can't think of a deal that I've ever seen first on another one of the game deal sites that wasn't already here.
Plus, there's no shipwreck on those other sites, and let's be honest, I'm a big reason you're here. :)

i used to go to VGTalk. i found out about CAG from VGtalk. and i found out about vgtalk from the old EGM forums which is now dead. i dont really like the new EGM forums now.

I believe the CAG "ripoff" site ya'll are refering to was actually a series of sites that all started with www.cheapass... One that comes to mind was www.cheapassstudent.com. I remember how we (the CAG community) FLOODED the "forums" that guy had with "RIPOFF", "SCAM", and fuck you posts.
