Zelda:TP producer interview

HM - Reports have suggested that Twilight Princess will take over 100 hours to complete is this accurate?

EA - It will of course depend on the individual player but we estimate most will like to explore the world thoroughly, therefore 100 hours would seem correct.

Smells like the elder scrolls series. Daggerfall,Morrowind, and Oblivian. With the main charecter set as Link. Man. I'm going to be playing this one for a while. I always thought Zelda games were to short though so this is awesome news too me.

HM - Like Revolution controller support?

EA - We will be utilising the Revolution hardware although not in a way many will expect.

I'm not even going to speculate, but that intrigues me.

Iwata said that if you explored everything 100 hours sounds right. That means that it's obvious it can be beaten in a shorter amount of time. My question is how much. I don't think there going to include that many extra side quests. So 60 hours or even 50 would be a long time. A lot longer then any previous Zelda game even. Man I think this game has the potential to surpass Ocarina of Time. And that sold 8+ million copies I believe.

EA - We have more than any previous Zelda game, myself and Mr Miyamoto are working hard on creating some unique and surprising dungeons to play through.

That certainly seems to imply it will at least be longer than any other zelda game...
