Weird Ps/2 jack on Monitor

Ok, so I just got back from the Thrift store, and i found a roughly 20in monitor with built in Bose speakers for $8. Works like a charm, but I cant figure out what this jack goes to. It looks like a normal ps/2 (look on the ends of the keyboard and mice) jack, but instead of having 6 pins, it has 7. I cant figure out where it is supposed to go, but ive surmised that it is the power for the speakers.

nah, its definatly something reguarding the built in bose speakers. The ps/2 connection has a little music sign (an eight note to be exact) and a power sign.C-

Find the make/model of the monitor. Go to the manufacturer's website and see if you can download a manual. It's probably some kind of proprietary audio connector.
