Found Suikoden Tactics today at Brandon CC, check your CCs if you want the game, there were definitely shipments of it.

Damn Gamestop's store locator. Said the Dale Mabry Gamestop had both Suikoden 1 & 2 in stock, i remembered seeing it all the time behind the glass (they were disc only so i didnt bother), and of course now that i want the game to sell (disc only copy of Suikoden 2 goes for 80+), it appears they shipped off all of there valuable PS1 games...
Is this the one in the Kash and Karry shopping complex next to the Best Buy and all that jazz? That game was there for almost a year, it's no wonder they shipped off their games someplace that would sell ;)

I was at that location for B2G1F sales a couple of times this year. Even though the online inventory system always said they had Suikoden 2, it wasn't anywhere I could see it and the clerks couldn't find it for me. Are you guys sure you actually saw that game? I assumed it had been sent back as defective or an employee was keeping it in the back room for (much) later purchase.

I was referring to the Northpoint Gamestop - in the Publix/Walmart shopping center accross from Target. The EB is the one all the way down dale mabry by Kash & Karry, Best Buy, old TRU, etc.
I went in yesterday asking a different person (that store has gone to hell since Megan left and i wouldnt trust any of those fat nerds as far as i could throw them), and they actually told me it was shipped off to the Citrus Park location. Ill probably head up there in a bit, but im not really expecting anything.
*Edit*
I skipped the Citrus Park trip for a trip to the TRU on Fowler looking for the Xbox 360 camera, no luck. Anyone find any at another TRU?

Yea, I know it was there because half the time I ask for it, they said they had it... I think it all depended on who you talked to. One guy just told me it was disc only, another guy once told me it was "disc only, scratched up, he wouldn't pay $60 for it" and it was a refurb sent in by corporate.
Other times, employees told me it was an "error in the system" and "they didn't have it". This was sandwiched in between the two times they told me they did have it. I just think they didn't keep it on the floor and maybe 1/2 the employees didn't know it existed... that store is kind of stupid.
About the XBL Camera, the local TRU here is generally on the ball with things like that so I highly doubt they broke the street date.

For those interested metrocon is going to have a special spinoff con coming up in October called Amano's World. That's right Yositaka Amano will be in Tampa. I preordered the VIP passes because I'm anticipating a long line for autographs from him. I missed Metrocon in June so I'm very excited about this.

What is this, exactly? I know it's got Amano, which is cool, but is this all it is, a show dedicated to him?
Formal ballroom dance? Ooookkk.... dosen't really seem like my thing, Amano or not, espically if its anime, which it is, so thanks but no thanks.

I just want to apologize to anyone in the Brandon area looking for one of the Xbox Live Vision cameras. I snagged all 4 that i could find, and have put them up on ebay. I've got a nice $1,500 dentist bill on the 29th and need as much cash as i can possibly get (im not even saving one for myself). Believe me if i didnt have the dentist bill i'd offer the 3 extras to the locals here.

Heh, I don't care, more props to you, I would have done the same thing except offer one up to a CAG I know personally.
How many other TRU's did you hit / call up, just Brandon and Citrus?
I just called Clearwater (guy said they didn't receive any in yet) and Tampa (guy just kinda said no real fast and hung up on me) so I guess I'll try Clearwater again tommorrow.
The douche at the Saint Petersburg store started going off about "how he dosen't know why people are calling for it so much because it dosen't come out until the Fall and they won't have any for a long time". Surrrrrrre buddy.

I went to the Brandon & Fowler ave (tampa) one.
You probably got the same guy in Tampa that i dealt with, kinda rolled his eyes as i asked him (i still looked in about every corner and crevice on both the floor and behind the glass, nothing). I'm tempted to call the St Pete location and ask just to piss the guy off.

hey, everyone. I was a "lurker" who decided to join after I found this Tampa thread.
Anyways, haven't found many good deals lately except for the $4.98 Xbox mem card at the Water& Henderson Target. I also took advantage of Rhino's B2G1 deal on Dreamcast games (RE3, RE:CV & Toy Commander). Also got the TR: LEgend & KH2 guides for $1.99 each.
So where are the good pawnshops around here?

So, for anyone looking for Saints Row early, here is a list of stores that WILL NOT SELL IT -
All three Target's in Saint Petersburg... tried every single one of them tonight.
The Wal-Mart on US 19 and 30th Ave South has them in the case on the bottom, spine down, but the register won't allow the sale of them. Same with the Wal-Mart on 38th avenue (but the guy said he was removing them out of the case).
The Target in Largo Mall is a no go either.
Did anyone have any better luck than I did finding a store that is selling it early?

The EBs and Gamestops have most the games that dropped on the website.
I got Max Payne 2 for $2 and Tecmo classics for $5. Does anyone in the area know of a place that has Panzer Dragoon Saga or Guardian Heroes. I have built up quite a lot of duplicates of "rare" games and wouldnt mind dumping them so I can get PDS.

The only place that sells old games like that is Rhino, but good luck hoping they'll get in those two games... the only independant game shop in the area closed about 3 years ago, and nobody else has opened to take its place.
Your best bet is just selling the rares on Ebay and then buying PDS or Guardian Heroes off of Ebay as well.
It is a shame though, I wouldn't mind a store that sold all sorts of games like that, as well as imports. Tampa is a big enough city that you think we would get at least ONE store like that.

Have you ever been into the Game Zoo? It's not what you think it is.
Me and a friend went in there one time, thinking it was going to be some awesome indy store. They have maybe 20 games for sale, it's one of those pay and play places... the games they do have for sale are common PS2 / Xbox / GC games and are way overpriced. For a pay and play place it looked kind of shitty too, the inside of it looked more like a Hot Topic.
The store I was refering to was in Saint Petersburg, it was called Apeman Video Games and he did get alot of rare stuff going through his store. However, he had another business that was taking off at the same time, and the fact he was in a bad location and wasn't getting a steady stream of trade-in's (he'd get maybe one hot game for every 25 sports games kids would try and trade-in) and he gave up on it after like a year.
It was an awesome store while it was around, I got alot of rare games from it.

Saint Petersburg is completely empty, employees grabbed everything, I saw CAG on their computers and everything is gone except for the total shit like Devil Kings.
Clearwater is empty, as well, they have nothing.
South Tampa didn't know how to access the inventory to look it up, but at Saint Petersburg they also told me they didn't have alot.
Brandon hung up on me.
Port Richey only has 1 or 2 Mario Baseball's and a Dynasty Warriors 5, I didn't ask about anything else.
No store has Mario Tennis or Mario Baseball except PR, Brandon might but I'll never know. This sale is a huge bust.

They also have a bunch of Rare Cart only NES games. I bought North and South, hope to go back and buy Pirates!, King's Quest V, and Bucky O' Hare.

Thanks for the tip, went there with a friend and pretty much cleaned them out on eligible $3 games for EB.
He also picked up Bucky O' Hare and Kings Quest V... to be fair, we didn't go in there until 6:20 pm, 10 minutes before they closed. Pirates! is still there though if you're interested. If he changes his mind and dosen't want them he'll probably let them go for $5, which is basacially cost + tax + like 50 cents extra because he's going to clean them and they need to be cleaned.
PM'ed you about Kings Quest V, since he wants to dump that one.

I got some nice deals there a couple of weeks ago:
Dreamcast Street Fighter III Double Impact $1
Dreamcast Street Fighter Alpha 3 $1
Dreamcast NFL Blitz 2000 $1
PS2 Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance $10
All of the games were complete and in good shape. I don't see many DC games that aren't sports these day, so the SF games were a nice surprise.

Im glad you found something Roufuss, your friend can keep King's Quest V, not worth the effort in meeting. I work at Ceridian (which is almost next door), I couldnt get out of work on time otherwise I wouldve bought all 3 for trade fodder (trying to aquire some rare Saturn games right now so any scare-uncommon games will help). I was kind of hoping youd keep all 3 there since I posted the deal, but you got there first so i guess its one of those finders keepers things.

Bucky O Hare was kind of fun... it was one of those good old school platforming games. Kings Quest V is kind of....meh. One of those things I'd rather play on the PC I think. My friend is also into collecting so I really didn't have any control over him buying anything, so sorry =/ To be honest, if I was going to grab anything there it would have been Legendary Wings but I don't really play my NES anymore (or I just use an emulator... I'm trying to get rid of my games, not add more ). I was just there for junk to trade into EB before I raided the K-Mart for the same purpose.
Hope there is no hard feelings =/
Like I said before though, if you're interested, he'll part with both of them, he was just shocked to see NES games there... I can probably convince him to let them go. I might go back to that K-Mart to grab some more games so let me know.

Nah, it was mostly all junk, it all traded in for like $1 - $1.50 at EB (one game even got 50 cents) so I only made about $7 on the whole trip. I think I left a Bloodwake there... alot of the $3 games were mostly old sports titles. I had alot better luck at the K-Mart next store getting games for $2 - $4.
There were some good $10 games for the regular Xbox though, like Fable: Lost Chapters, Ninja Gaiden, Knights of the Old Republic, and something else I can't remember.
Most of the $3 games were scratched to hell as well, I'm surprised the EB took them and didn't charge a refurbishing fee.
I didn't mess with the $5 games at the pawn shop, just the $3 ones.

Why are your Gamerush prices $5 cheaper than the ones in the list? Is it because they are used? Lemmings is the only one I'd go out and get for $14.99 but everything else on that list will be $20 and cheaper eventually anyways.

Everything from GR was used except Gradius. And all, I'll add, are in perfect condition. And one more thing: Why, Roufuss, are you always belittling finds people post on here? I posted this information so anyone interested will know what to expect at the locations I visited. Perhaps there are people on here who were waiting for that magic price point on the games I listed — so I'd like to be able to help them out. Frankly, I don't care what you think regarding the prices I paid; I'm only interested in helping my fellow CAG.

I was merely adding my own opinion on the prices I would personally pay... nowhere in that post did I ever say "Wow, you're so stupid for paying $20, nobody will pay that!!" That is belittling, I merely mused to myself that everything will be cheaper at stores in the future so I'm not going to rush right over. I honestly don't care what you yourself are doing with your money... it makes no difference to me.
I think you're merely trying to make something out of nothing... if someone is waiting for any of those games to go $20, more power to them; I, however, do not, and will take a gamble on them getting even cheaper. To be honest, other than CC, you really didn't give people anything to expect... all I know is that GR has "good deals". See, now that is belittling.
I guess I figured out the reason why I don't post my finds in this thread anymore, and just keep it limited to the few people I know in the area. Which reminds me, Otherguy, check your PM's, I find something you'd be interested in I think.
By the way, also wanted to add I cleaned out what was left in the K-Mart's in Tampa (which wasn't much) so anybody in the area shouldn't expect much at any K-Mart. Most of the ones in Tampa and Saint Petersburg were ransacked before I picked through the remains.

I'm pretty sure the employees get dibs on all of those.
And no, I go to the EB in Tyrone Mall, they have an awesome staff, they get new releases as soon as they open (picked up Tales of the Abyss at 10 am today) and it's a nice store.
I've been to that Baywalk one a few times, and I can never find a decent place to park, and the store just seems kind of unorganized... to be honest, I'm really surpirsed they haven't closed it down yet, I can't imagine it doing alot of business in the area where it's at.
What's weird is that, other than that EB, there is NO Gamestop or EB anywhere near the lower Saint Petersburg region... you think that would be a prime place to put one since there is NOWHERE around that to buy games except for that Target all the way up on 9th street.
I've always wondered why they didn't plop a Gamestop in one of those strip malls, it would make a killing as there are a ton of houses around 1st street and 38th avenue, it's a rich neighboorhood for the most part, and people don't want to drive 15 minutes to the mall to get a game.

The Capcom Classic Collection? That's $19.99 at Best Buy now, I think the one in Saint Pete has a few copies... only $14.99 after GGC.
Katamari is $20 at Gamerush, and I think it was at every GR I went to, but I know for sure the 34th Street South store had 1 or 2 copies in a glass case. Might want to call and double check before making the trip, though, but I know that's one GR that had a metric ton of PSP games.

Haha, it's cool. If you are going to go after PSP games go for the 34th Street South store and the 9th Street North stores... the 49th street north store has some stuff but not nearly the selection of the other two stores.

Actually, I don't remember seeing this one at all... alot of the PS2 new game stock at these stores are pretty much cleaned out.
It might be worth it calling Clearwater and seeing what they have, though. I found the easiest way to do it is to call one store, and then get the part number for the item so you just have to call Blockbuster and give them an item # (which is how my friend was able to call a few GR's to find a 360 game, made it alot easier).
I'd try the Port Richey store too... nobody goes to that one.

Ok... here's the ones in Saint Petersburg:
1) 4th Street North and like...um... 82nd Avenue North. It's past that Wendy's, you'll see it as you go. This store has really friendly staff and a pretty decent selection.
2) 34th Street South and 49th Avenue South (about, again, I don't know EXACT locations). The one is past the Wal-Mart and the K-Mart, it's right past a Pizza Hut around there. This one also has friendly staff from my experiences, and has a huge selection of new and used games.
3) 49th Street North and Park Ave. This one is an exact address ;) I don't really like this store... the staff have always been rude and don't really seem to care about their job, and their stock really isn't as good as the other two stores. We almost got denied getting games at the right price because "the tag said $60". I only go in here because it's close to my friends house, but in my 3 + years of dealing with Gamerush this is the worst store.
I would say there is no order to how I like the stores... I don't like GR as a whole, but I'd say the first two stores at least TRY to do a good job with what they are given. I've only been to the Clearwater stores once or twice, here's where they are, I may be wrong -
1) I think this one is on Gulf to Bay Blvd off of US 19. This one usually has a horrible game selection, I've never found anything I've wanted at it, so I've only been a few times.
2) This one is on Enterprise Road off of US 19. This one has a decent stock, it's a big store, nice staff, I like this store too.
Now, if you really want to get adventurous, you can always try the Port Richey store, as no one on Earth hits up that one.

I will say this, if someone wants a cheap brand new copy of Gradius Collection for PSP I think it's $15 (maybe $20, you'll have to check) at the 34th Street South Gamerush.
It's the only one I saw out of the three stores, and there is just one left, and it's an awesome game if you're a shooter fan.

Devhook has been doing stuff up to about 2.71 I think... you should look into it, I don't know all the specifics about it, but I know alot of people swear by it.
Basacially Devhook lets a 1.5 PSP think it's a higher firmware.

The only place I knew of that sold Master System games closed down a few months ago. We used to have ALOT of stores that specialized in old video game sales, but they've all closed down; I guess it's just not profitable.
Your best bet is the same old shit we always do: flea markets, thrift stores, pawn shops.
Back in the day though there was a shop where you could have easily have gotten those three Master System games plus a ton more. The dude completely got out of the video gaming business though, I knew he sold his excess stock but I don't know where.
If you find a reliable place for old games though, that would be awesome, but as far as I know we don't have anything like that... it's weird, Tampa Bay is so big you think we'd at least have something.

If any Tampa-ites are checking out their local CompUSA, can you let me know if they have any copies of F.E.A.R. Director's Cut for the PC?
It is $29 on their website but no delivery and no store pickup.
The Clearwater store is magically out of them (even though they had plenty of copies before the sale).
I'd like to know before driving over the bridge since the store drones are clueless to look.

I think the only two CompUSA's around here are in Tampa, both within 5 minutes from each other. If it helps, the one not on Dale Mabry (if I'm thinking of the right store) is worthless. The one on Hillsborough, it's a really old model store and it's pretty shitty, so that only leaves on decent CompUSA left.
What I would do, is call them, and give the SKU (334717) and just have them look that up in their computer. This way they don't have to screw around with the name of the game or anything... I find this works alot better with people working in retail.

Had a pretty decent pawn shop day on 19 in Pasco county. I got Madden 07 (XBX360) for $15. The pawn shop had about 10 XBX games (including Saint's Row), but I was happy with the new Madden. I also got House of the Dead 2 ($2, DC), Mushashi Samurai Legend ($5, PS2), Mega Man X (SNES,cart only $2), Lord of the Rings Middle Earth 2 complete (PC, $4) and two surprises. I know they aren't worth much because of how common they are but I bought Sealed copies of Ms. Pac Man (2600) and Donkey Kong (7800). They also had Dig Dug, Jr. Pac Man, Joust, Solaris, Galaxian, and a few other others. They were all sealed, not worth anything but I may pick up a few more as trophies for my game collection.

Not much of a choice for TRU's in Tampa, lol. Wouldnt mind picking up a PS3 reserve to sell (i wouldnt mind having the system itself, especially now that $600 is less than a week's wage with my new job; but most likely it'll have its problems like the first run of 360's, so ill wait).
I'll probably drive by in the morning for a Wii reserve (i think they open at 10 or 11 on Sundays). Though i've got faith in Nintendo that i wont have to worry too much about finding one of these on launch day.

Interbay is literally a shack with Mario painted on the side, I dont think they have many regular clientille. He guarenteed me that I would have one on November 17th, so I just think I got extremely lucky. I went into a store that no one knows about and picked up the last preorder. Of course I could be wrong, and then I will have to cancel my preorder, but I think this place is pretty credible. Prices are decent too. Not a wide selection of rare games though.

That "last preorder" was mine originally. He had it set aside, and I went at 10 a.m. yesterday (Nov. 3) to put my deposit down. But it seemed sketchy to me. The contract had misspellings in it, and it clearly stated that you would not get your $100 back in cash if the console didn't come in. Furthermore, he told me specifically that he couldn't guarantee a Nov. 17 delivery. And I read something online about him being charged with fraud, selling stolen goods, etc. And finally, I just can't understand how this guy with this little shack is going to get 25 units in when there's only going to be 400,000 nationwide.
All that said, I hope you get it! Let us know how it turns out.

That's exactly what I thought. It was pretty hard to turn away, but I think I made the right decision. I didn't want $100 in store credit at his hole in the wall if it didn't come in. Also, I was skeptical that that hole in the wall would even be there come Nov. 17. And I guess good things come to those who wait — I was able to get in on the 60 gig PS3 preorder on BestBuy.com. My order still says "1 item preordered." Some say "Backordered." So I'm hoping I got in early enough to snag one!

Not worried about the $100, I can dispute it with my credit card company if needed. I personally have heard good feedback through the years at the store. IF it comes in, great, if not, then I'll just have to go through the numbers. The place has been in business for 4 plus years..........

The games have to have a trade-in value of $10 or more but some of their games have crazy high values... war of the monsters gets $10, pirates gets $14, stuff that you wouldn't normally expect to get more than $2.
I've called two or three times now getting trade-in values and they are extremely nice over the phone... so just a heads up to someone who wants some quick and cheap 360 games since a billion of them are coming out all at once.
Also, Rhino carries games from every system and I believe they are ALWAYS running a buy 2 get 1 sale on all the older stuff. If the store was any closer I'd go there all the time, but it's about 30 - 45 minutes from me so I'll just make my 1 annual trip on Wednesday

Apparently he doesn't realize that we have freedom of speech in this country. He tried flagging posts in this thread as "slanderous." Dumb ass.

There were posts slandering his store but from what people said his store is a shady business to begin with... it just sounds like people were calling it as they see it.
I thought it was hilarious that, with his screen name, he just happened to find a store with the SAME NAME that happened to just have a deal for CAG's.

Just found out some interesting info on the Owner of Interbay:
The owner of this company (Brian David) has been convicted of Selling Stolen Goods, Fraud, and Grand Theft in the past 2 years...likely related to his business. Also owes $80k in back-taxes, also related to his business. He is supposedly selling "guaranteed Playstation3 pre-orders" and claims to be getting "25 of them from his distributor". Chalk this up as additional fraud charges coming to him in the next few weeks.
And lookie what i found, arrest records!

I knew it! How is that guy able to operate a business that targets kids with that record? Shouldn't he be registered on the sexual offenders list?
Also, be careful about that Rhino deal. I was taking advantage of that often a few months ago, and I actually had several copies of different games that qualified. To make a long story short, they accused me of stealing those games and also claimed that they were "in too good of condition." I got in touch with their corporate offices and complained. They sent me a $20 gift card, which I used on my last visit there. I haven't been back since.

Here is my response.
You are shady and your prices suck.
If you do not deliver on your ps3 pre orders I am sure you will get what is coming to you.
Your store is a dirty shack in port tampa and have no selection and carry nothing but Goodwill bought and Compusa dumpster diver specials.
Get some quality stuff.
What is worse is to find out this sexual offender is selling games to poor children.
Someone should alert the police about this fraudulent kiddie humper.
He must be stopped at all costs.
Did he want you to meet him at his store because he was mad about what you wrote on these forums?

You may want to just pop the discs out of their cases for a second to break that "new" feeling, too. That may have been my mistake. And maybe put the manuals in backwards or something. It's definitely a great deal. I got several new (at the time) games for little to no out-of-pocket expense — including Dead Rising, Saint's Row, Madden 07 (360), etc. Best local deal outside the FYE special from last month.

Now that it's been talked about that PS3 allocation was cut down for the US, I highly doubt this guy is going to get 25, let alone 1. If Sony can't even get enough to Gamestop to fulfill their preorders, I highly doubt they'll send this guy any, unless he's buying one from Gamestop and re-selling it through his store which dosen't make alot of sense.
I would honestly just get your money back now, because there is a 100% chance at this point that the dude isn't getting anything.

Nope.
Also, to everyone in our area wondering about Black Friday deals and all of that. Our local Best Buy in Saint Petersburg is NOT price adjusting anything purchased before Black Friday to a BF price, and is NOT price matching any other black friday deal.
I know this applies to doorbusters but I'm fairly certain it applies to all BF weekend items.

So anyone out ther have any luck?

Im not really too dissapointed (as i mainly wanted one just to ebay for some quick cash). Heres hoping that tomorrow's Wii Camp goes well, im debating which wal mart to camp at. Anyways, went pawn shopping today in Brandon and found Complete SNK Pocket games (Samurai Shodown 2, Sonic, Match of the Millennium), complete NES games (Batman), and a Atari Lynx with 4 games. A decent haul, it looked as if no one has been to Brandon in a long time to clean out the shops.

I went to Sams Club, seems that they got 2 PS3's in on launch day and there was only 1 person on line. They sold both of them to that guy...
The Walmart @ Dale Mabry/Bearss has 50+ ppl on line (as of 7pm) and only 26 systems, so that location is a no go.
Im gonna try the two other Dale Mabry locations, and maybe the Land O Lakes Store.

On the flipside, it seems Tampa has been cleaned out.
The only thing worth noting is that a Value Pawn on Hillsborough and like...um...35th Avenue N has a used Guitar Hero, and they want $50 for it. Guitar looks to be in good shape, it comes with everything, it was just put out. They are dropping the price Wednesday, and this same pawn shop on Friday is doing 40% off EVERYTHING from 7 - 8 am... the chance of getting Guitar Hero 1 for $30 is very high if you are so inclined. I just got GH 2 from Rhino so I'm good.
Also this same pawn shop has Ace Combat Zero for $15, if you're really wanting to play it.
An EZ Pawn on busch blvd has 3 or 4 Halo 2's for $9.99 if anyone is interested. I found 1 for $6.99 so score for me.
Also snagged an FFX and KOTOR 1 guide at Rhino for $1.99 each :D
Plus, the lines for the Wii were pathetic at about 9 pm. Two Target's only had 1 person, the Circuit City on Dale Mabry had nobody camped out in line, and the Best Buy only had a few people as well.

Also, I forgot to mention, but if anyone wants a really cheap Xenogears some pawn shop on Nebraska had it. The case is beat up and it has no manual, but it was only $5 and a non greatest hits.
I would have grabbed it to resell it but the case condition + no manual wasn't really worth it for me. I imagine the disc's are in great condition because all the games my friend bought at this pawn shop (like a complete mint Grandia 2 for DC, also $5) were in immaculate condition.
So yea, if you want Xenogears and don't care about busted case + no manual, it's there, only $5, awesome price if you just want to play it.
Plus, I'm also really surprised that the Wii's sold out around here... like I posted above, at closing time last night for all these stores there was maybe 1, 2 people max in line, and some stores had no lines camping out. Was tempted to sit outside Circuit City on Dale Mabry once I was done shopping but I don't have the cash atm, and it was cold as hell ;)

Good luck if it's a rare toy, there are more toy scalpers here than anywhere.
A long time ago I had a friend who worked for Emerald City Comics, the guy who runs that store would hit up every toy store looking for Marvel Legends figs, would buy the in demand ones and charge 3x as much in his store. It was either pay it or go without.
I like to get Marvel Legends figures every once in awhile and those things are wiped out ASAP as soon as they hit the shelves.
I also worked at TRU a long time ago and these hoarders will also strike deals with the stock people to get first crack at any shipment that comes in on in demand stuff.

Yep. My TRU I worked at actually loved it when toy hoarders came in because they bought out a shitload of stuff at once and it made sales look good.
I was the one who had to listen to the customers complain about how we didn't have variety in our shelves because the hoarders would leave the 1 or 2 figures nobody wanted and were really common.

Burger King $3.99 Games with meal purchase. Kennedy and Westshore claimed they had none, Busch and 56th St had them, had to buy 1 meal per 3 games you wanted to get. The games look good from the covers, but once playing them, they are kinda Cheesy. Maybe just have to learn to love them like you have to learn to love Burger King Fries. Wiis Were suppose to be at Sams Clubs, called 4 yesterday only 1 Actually was gonna sell them today, they all claimed they didnt have them but that 1. Didnt know when they would have them either. I spent $400 (Wii & 3 games) so i got 10% off that ($40), and a free $20 Wii lightup gift card for buying 3 games. I figured im gonna get denied (i have no credit) so what does it matter.

The only thing i think is wierd is that sometimes their free shipping is UPS and sometimes its plain Media Mail (they sent out a dvd boxset media mail, but a SD card UPS).

I decided to take advantage of EB/GS's B2G1 deal. The EB in Brandon mall had used Red Steel & FF7: DoC, & I got BFME2 for 360 for free. The Gamestop in the same mall had Excite Truck used if anyone wants that. Toys R Us still has 2 Doom 3 CEs as well. Anyone else taken advantage of the B2G1?

Anyone else taken advantage of the B2G1?
I'm about to take advantage of it today to flip to Rhino.
I can get two games for $12.99 a piece plus a free game, and easily use rhino's Trade 2 get 1 free ($50 credit) and the free game to get myself near $60 in credit.
It's like getting brand new 360 games for $25 a piece. I'll get Rainbow Six Vegas and something else cheaper than just getting one used newer title from Gamestop alone.
As for taking advantage of the b2g1 free to get games I'd actually play and not flip? Nah, EB / GS is a ripoff on used prices even with b2g1 free. It used to be awesome when they had used rare games at non inflated prices, you could make a killing if you worked the system right, and when they also stocked PS1 games.
I mean, seriously, everone in this thread who hasn't gone to Rhino needs to go and check it out. For a $60 360 game they charge $50 used from what I've seen, and they carry a ton of older stuff, not to mention their awesome deals which are easy to take advantage of if you know how to work them. Rhino is good enough to make me drive 45 minutes there and back and I'm a huge cheap ass espically on gas so you KNOW it has to be good.

Agreed. When GRAW BFME 2 1st came out, I remember they had used ones for $44.99 each as opposed to EB's 54.99. I also love the fact that they carry DC & Gen games, also B2G1 all the time. The employees actually know what they're talking about to.

Black Friday went well for me.
Toshiba 42 inch plasma TV ended up costing $1000 because of mistakes they made (should of been $1200). It was then delivered free.
I also got the 120 gig Seagate portable Hard drive for my girlfriend for Christmas and the 2 gig SD flash drive at CC w/o waiting in line.
At TRU I got Urban Reign and Makai Kingdom.
At CC I got Quake 4, TMNT Mutant Melee, Half Life 2, and Socom 3.
At Staples I got a $20 Microsoft laser Mouse
At Value Pawn I got a $5 Condemned.
Not a bad haul, especially after Sears gave me $90 cash for screwing up my Plasma TV order (I bought it last week and they sold it), so they delievered me one today.

Sams club on Dale Mabry had a returned 42" Samsung 1080i Plasma for $850. The discount tag said "Left side has dots (pixels?) on screen". Sams Club claims its under full warranty, but i called samsung and they said since its an Open Box item its not under warranty. They ask at the begining of the call for your name/address, so obviously i cant call back and cook up a lie that would allow it to be "under warranty". But if anyone else wants to try, it might still be there tomorrow morning (i left sams 15 minutes ago, only 2 people seemed interested in it).

Another awesome trip to Rhino... traded in two of my own games, as well as two games I bought at EB for $23 total.
I used Rhino's trade 2 deal get 1 free deal two seperate games for two 360 games, and paid the $10 for each to cover the difference.
So F.E.A.R and Rainbow Six Vegas for $45 together after everything is all said and done.
I really REALLY urge everyone to check this store out.... it's incredibly easy to flip between EB / GS and Rhino and most EB / GS's have TONS of cheap sub $12.99 games to use.
Unfortunately I did get the last Rainbow Six Vegas for 360 :(

Rhino had them dirt cheap ($2 i think) but that was a couple months ago.
The Kmart on Dale Mabry by the stadium has 2 or 3 360 controllers left, these were on the rack, I'd imagine they have more somewhere else, or you could always get it price matched. Its not a bad deal, $30, for the wireless ones if you have a core system (like me.)
Has anybody seen Odama at the targets around here? I just realized it was down to $12, but keep forgetting when I'm in target.

I dont know how it happened, but after searching for a copy of Toe Jam and Earl 1 for years, I find two complete copies within 30 minutes of each ofther for a grand total of $7 at a thrift store and then a pawn shop. I also found a complete copy Black Label Copy of Castlevania SOTN for $4 between the two copies of TJE. Castlevania had been sitting there for over a month (according to the label) and I was shocked to see it. Now only if I could find a cheap copy of Dirge of Cerebus.

Rhino prices alot of their stuff around Ebay values, namely because they can because there is no other place around that sells old games that is a well respected store front.
I only go there for newer type stuff, I tend to just avoid all of their old school stuff since it is generally overpriced, in my opinion.

There is a pawn shop on 34 Street South next to the K-Mart and Wal-Mart that got in a TON of Gamecube games... I passed on them all as they are in pretty bad shape. Crappy cases, no manuals, discs are kinda fucked up.
However, if you want a Zelda Collectors Edition for $10 and don't mind the condition of it (I assume it will play) then this is a good deal.
They also had Sonic Riders, every RE 0, 1 and 4, Pokemon Colosseum, and some other GC games all for $10 a pop.
They also had the kind of rare Pokemon Colosseum bonus disc but, again, it was in pretty bad shape. They would be close to impossible to resell (I wouldn't take the chance, not in a million years), but I figure if anyone out there wants them to play them it is an awesome deal, or has a way to maybe fix up discs.
You might be able to even talk them down from $10.

Unless you get lucky with some pre-owned ones at a game store (Maybe a Rhino?), chances are you're not gonna find them for less than ebay prices other than maybe some no-name site.
