I'm not sure if this is a crack on Speedy on not being 100% accurate on the deals, or on TSD not posting deals anymore, but TSD is long gone, and he's not coming back.

Speedy posts these on the DVDtalk forums, which, week after week, CAG rips off of so we can post them here (and we give credit). He posts the video game deals as courtest to other members on his own home forum, since technically all he really needs to do is post the DVD deals, or, hell, not post any deals at all.

If it wasn't for Speedy, we would have 0 advance notices on ads, so it's ok for him to slip up... he's still doing us a giant favor, even if he dosen't know it.

Well, he had thousands of games, but I don't think he's selling them all off. Just the ones he isn't going to play anytime soon.

Circuit City's ad shows Perfect Dark Zero Limited Collectors Edition not the regular version at 39.99. Might be a chance for some to get this morning. Also gonna be good for price matching too probably.

The Best Buy ad shows that the 360 version of Tomb Raider is $59.99 (It's under the $49.99 price).

OP, you may want to add that Circuit City has a 12 month XBL card for $39.99 (regular $49.99) and they have Microsoft Branded wireless controllers for $39.99 (regular $49.99) this week.

Weak!

I just went out to the BB Website to check out the Buy 2 for $30 deal for the Platinum Hits. It's only working for the Platinum hits that the site knows are Platinum Hits. I added Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Destroy All Humans to my cart and it didn't show the 2 for $30 deal. And they are both Platinum Hits now.

Weak!

Has anyone tried Lego Star Wars for the cube yet in the 2 for 30 deal? Is it Player's choice now? Bestbuy.com still shows it for $30, but I would like to pick it up in the 2 for 30 deal.

I got shot down on that yesterday morning, so YMMV.

You can however take the $5 coupon and use it at CC. They do take competitors coupons.

This has probably been answered before, but if I buy the XBL card now and my year doesn't end until Sept of this year, can I add the year any time up until my current expiration or do I have to wait until Sept to add it?

Also, do these cards expire at some point? I wouldn't want to buy it now and not use it until Sept and find out it has expired.

Thank you for your responses, Chris

Your subscriptions will queue up, meaning you can input the card today, and when your sub is up it'll automatically transfer to the new card.

There were expiration dates on some of the older Xbox Live boxes, but I don't think people had a problem calling in to get them working after the expiration date.

It did for me yesterday. I picked up X-Men Legends 2 (GCN) and Midnight Club 3: Remix (Xbox) for ~$31. I doubt it's YMMV, the cashier just rang them up and the machine took $5 off each game.

those 360 wireless controllers and 12-month live card can be even cheaper. if u go through www.xboxlivediamondcard.com and click the circuit city link, u can receive 10% off any 360 accessory. hence, the wireless contoller and 12-month live card would be 36 bucks + tax.
