Computer Gaming World - No more CD subscription but Free 1 year sub to FileFront.com

I've been receiving CGW for a while now from a free subscription I signed up for a while back. I don't know if I was supposed to get the cd but I never complained since I was getting it for free.

Anyway, today I get a postcard saying they are discontinuing the monthly cd-rom but are offering either a one year free access to Fastpass at FileFront.com or a refund for the unused portion of my subscription. I took the Fastpass since I'm getting the magazine for free anyway.

Anybody else get this?

Damn I wish signed up for that again (for free of course). I'm suprised they sent you the offer though, most free magazines never include the demo cd to begin with.

i got the same exact postcard. i tried to find it on the site to get a refund. but it says the Account balance is 0.00 so im thinking if i ask for a refund they wont be giving me any money.

lol, did you have a free subscription too? That's why I didn't even bother to try to get a refund.
