Is the Godfather a free roam game? I read numorus reviews and i can't find it any where thanks for your help

from what i've read yes. kinda like gta but better graphics, gameplay and atmosphere

More or less, yeah. But you can pick up Mafia for $5 at Circuit City, its pretty much the same game, and has free roaming...

its free roam in a sence that you can either do a story mission, a hit, or take over business/ warehouses around town. So its like a limited free roam.

from what my friend has been telling me (hes played it since launch day) the game pretty much is GTA with the Godfather license.

It's unfair to label this as GTA or Mafia, as it is more like a combination of the two and adds something new to the entire genre.
The best part about it is taking over businesses, factories, compounds, and rackets. The worst part is probably the driving, as it's too simplistic.
