I traded my complete and mint Kingdom Hearts II & $65 for:
1 Halo X-box Console w/Box and Manual(s) and all hookups
1 Mad Catz Controller
Halo 1 (Complete)
Halo 2 LE (Complete)
Ninja Gaiden (Complete)
So is it a good deal? The way we thought of this trade was him was selling me the bundle for $100 and I "traded in" Kingdom Hearts II for $35.
He didn't have the Halo controller cause he couldn't find it. Also, what's a decent price for a offical controller s these days? 3 month Xbox live (other than surplus computers.com)? Are they even supporting Xbox live? Thanks.
Great Deal. The Halo Xbox is worth $165. you can get KH2 back someday for $20. While Ninja Gaiden is worthless, you can get a few bucks back for it.
A controller should be about $15-25, not too bad.
As for live, you can still use it with xbox.

You got a fabulous deal. The regular Xbox looks incredibly ugly when compared to the beauty that is the Halo Xbox. Rejoice my good man, and be gentle with her, she's a keeper.

Thanks for the feedback on the trade and my noobish xbox questions. Yeah, my plan was to either get KH2 when it's $20, before it goes GH, wait for some deal, or borrow it from a friend :).
The Halo Xbox isn't the one with the faulty hardrive right (Samsung)?? My friend said he never had a problem so I don't think it is. I hope that Xbox doesn't drop its value.
Edit: Yeah, I thought it was a good deal. I will take care of it.
Edit2: Thompson, that's right! Thanks 2Fast.

The Thompson disc drive is what you are thinking of, I do believe.
The Halo Xbox has the Samsung drive, which is generally considered to be the best among the Xbox's three iterations of disc drive (the other drive is made by Philips I think). I have had the Halo Xbox for around 2 years now, and I have had zero problems with it.
actually the halo xbox can have any one of the three dvd drive. use this to determine which drive you have

Well, according to the site, I have the Phillips drive. I guess that's good. Better than the Thompson I've been hearing about.
