The one in Montgomery is fairly picked clean.. I racked up big time at a rural Sam Goody in Sylacauga when I visited a friend (Quake 4, Stubbs PC, Silent Hunter III, Beavis and Butthead Collection, IL2 gold). I think PC games are 60% off.. I may go back this weekend for a few boxed sets and F.E.A.R.

I know. I was out with my dad around 2, and we both didn't want to go there because of the 'threat'.
I may have asked you this before, but did you gradutate from State? I'm in grad school there right now.

hahaha dan satterfield, i hate that guy.
I went last week, they had alot of good stuff left. but the prices w/ the 50% off were pretty much the same you could get anywhere else. if it goes to 60-70% it might be better though.

Cool. I'll check it out tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to the DVDs more than the videogames.

I live right across the stree from dave's on the corner of 182 and montgomery. Man, I don't know how dave's is going to survive with the smoking ban that is probably going to go into effect. Dave's isn't Dave's if you don't leave with that "Jesus, I really need to take a shower" feeling.

hadn't heard about the smoking ban, but yeah that place has zero circulation. i used to live in the eshee properties up from the bp on the corner. i'd just walk to work to dave's. what kind of grad work are you doing?

I'm in history.
I was a history major for 3 years at Auburn of Montgomery, only to change to Business/Information Systems (bringing the grand total to 6 years and many wasted credits). I gave up on the concept of teaching history in this state after seeing the mean starting incomes. Good luck with that shit man, you practically have to get a masters for History to get anything out of it.

I'm going all the way with a phD. Community College teachers get paid like shit, too.
