Bomberman and Chu Chu Rockets are obvious, but while spacing out at work and reading SNK was going to be doing something how cool would it be to have Baseball Stars. Return Fire would be insanely cool to play online. There is just so much stuff that begs to be on XBLA.

Since RARE is on board, I would love to have some R.C. Pro-Am with XBL support for 5+ players. Battletoads would rule with 2-4 player co-op.

From Konami, I would love to see Jackal with co-op and battle modes.

Windjammers from SNK would be a pretty snazzy XBL multiplayer game.

Co-op Maximum Carnage (I'm not sure if the original had co-op or not, or even who owns the rights to that game anymore since Acclaim went under) and the original Perfect Dark.

Kid Chameleon (Sega Genesis), please. If that came out, I'd never play anything else again...

Maximum Carnage did have co-op. If I remember correctly you shared continues with your partner, which made a difficult game even harder... revamped with newer graphics that would definitely be a hot choice for XBLA

I'd like to see the Xmen arcade game on XBLA alongside TMNT Turtles in Time (not original, I know, but I still want it!)

I have a hankering for the classics: Contra (Richlough mentioned), Rastan, Ye Aire Kung Fu, Cyberball - which is coming, BTW. But the absolute best would be Mat Mania. I loved that game.

I thought Revolution had Genesis games on lockdown? Or is that only Sega-branded Genesis games? Regardless, I can't remember if Kid Chameleon was Sega-made or not, so I contibute nothing.

Xenophobia!
You mean Xenophobe? I agree, even though the controls were screwy.

Simply Put: Any worthwhile Side-Scrolling Brawler from the arcade, preferably with as much online co-op support as possible. This would probably include...

Konami: The Simpsons, X-Men, TMNT (and its sequels)

Capcom: Aliens vs. Predator (eh, I can dream), Captain Commando, Final Fight (and its sequels), King of Dragons, Knights of the Round, AD&D (once again, I can dream), etc.

Why? Mostly because I wouldn't mind dropping as much as $10 on some of those titles so I can load one up and bash random punks and thugs with my friends across the country.

And with SNK on board? That one is simple...any amazing classic they still have lying around (Magician Looooord?), maybe a few Samurai Shodowns or KoFs...that would be nice.

Now, if Microsoft can hound Square-Enix for most of Taito's backlog that will pretty much do it for me. Then they can toss out online co-op ports of tons of SHMUPs and some amazing Taito puzzle games (get some Magical Drop, some Puzzle Bobble...) on there. Oh yeaaaaaah.

Dragon Force (how about some online vs. play?)
Guardian Heroes (6 player online versus, 4 player co-op)
Contra
Contra III

If it had full 6-Player Co-Op over Live then I'd pay $20 without thinking twice. It would be too good to pass up.

Man, that game was amazing...

Kinda off-topic question, do people have to be on your friends list to play co-op with you, or is there matchmaking of some sort?

You guys that talk about CCR... did you actually play online on the DC? I was on quite a bit, and still chat a lot/play FFXI with a lot of people that used to play to this day.

I played Chu Chu Rocket on the Dreamcast all the time. As the final seconds counted down in matches it was super intense.

I know in Gauntlet, there is a matchmaking co-op. So for that game no. Not sure how other XBLA co-op games go.

I, Robot by Atari. The first true solid fill polygonal 3D game in the arcades. Has never had a real home version but was very influential and many games have made subtle references to it. One of the bosses in the original SNES StarFox was a direct homage.
