View Full Version : How much should I sell the Zelda:TP trailer DS cart for?

Hello my fellow CAG's,

I have a Zelda:TP trailer cart for the DS and I was wondering if I should sell it now or wait in the case in becomes more valuable. I got it for free so anything I get is pure profit, but I wanted to sell it to help pay for the DS Lite. I am in no hurry to sell it as I have enough money, but I want to make sure I sell it before it goes down in price. I searched ebay and similar sites for the game, but I could not find it so I don't know how much its getting nowadays. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Start it at 0.01 and hype the hell out of it (Ultra rare and all that stuff). Don't forget pics.

A lot I imagine. Was breaking $200 right after E3 based on rarity alone.

Sell it before the game comes out...I say you have plenty of time.

Sell it right after E3 this year. People will see the new Zelda stuff and be like "oh shit, that's off the mofckin' hook" and they'll want the DS cart more than they do right now.

Are you talking to me? If so, I have no clue what you are talking about.

I got 2 Zelda:TP DS demos. One from my Uncle's friend and the other for winning a contest on Nintendo's site. I gave one to my other cousin though, so this is my only one. Also, thanks for the suggestions so far.

On topic Op you could probably get enough out of that thing to almost pay for a DS lite. anywhere from $100-200. Just depends on who sees your selling it. Your best bet would likely be to ebay it though.

Wow! I can get that much for it? I thought the value of the cart went down after the hype for Zelda TP died down a bit. If it goes for anywhere near $100, I will have to sell it off. What I was thinking was to sell Zelda II (GBA) and this cart in one bid. I hear that Zelda II is a bit rare as well.

I don't know if I'm willing to drop $100 on it...

I'm hoping the value goes DOWN after the game actually releases (not to screw you over, just so that I can find one for a decent price via eBay or something).

If you get really desperate, I could do $50 shipped anytime. But I know that's a lowball offer at this point so see how much you can get first!

I remember seeing an auction right after E3 last year for this cart and a bunch of other E3 swag with a BIN of $60 and I was like "Damn, that's too much." :shock:

Yeah, it just a crappy movie of Zelda:TP. The only reason why it sells for so much is because its rare. I would just give it away, but if this really is worth $100, I could use it to help to pay for some stuff.
