Has anyone heard of any place taking Rev preorders yet? I know a street date and price haven't been announced, but I also know that some times EB would go ahead and sign people up...

I found this:
http://www.games-addiction.com/catalog/product_info.php?currency=USD&products_id=56
I hope that's not the actual price though...

Haha... well, that's Canadian dollars, for one thing, it appears. And when that item was listed they didn't even know about the controller. So I wouldn't worry about that price.
I thought GameCrazy had started taking preorders, but I couldn't be sure. I'm waiting on GameRush.

My favorite part about that page? The "Product Page" link takes you to Microsoft.com ;)

I bet that most stores will start taking pre-orders during or a few days after E3.

I would guess only $5 down seeing as they don't even know the price yet.

I wouldn't "guess" when it comes to consoles, EB and GS were charging $50 for 360 preorders when the price hadn't been announced yet.

The 64 was difficult to come by, but I have forgotten, was the Cube?

Pfft... hell no. If I remember correctly, the PS2 had huge lines, the Xbox had some decent lines, but the GC had nothing. It came last and with no major titles, so...

It was sold out I do recall. But shortly after it met demand and the rest is history.

The Gamestops around here are taking lists for people to be called to take a preorder on a Rev. I'm already on the list for one. :D

PS2 was sold out until like the following April or May. Xbox was met with no real shortage, nor was the Cube. PS2 was gaining steam and was in full production by then, plus the two launched almost at the same time. Both the Xbox and GC were in stock everywhere by me from day 1, and, for reference, I'm in a New York suburb, not some small mid-American town.

Now that's a disappointment to me.. since I ASKED THEM and they said they won't be taking any orders until they have a DATE! But I went to the MOA and Bville one.. so I'm not sure about anything else. Sheesh I definitely want to pre-order ASAP! Maybe order it at the MOA where I'm awaiting preciously when Zelda is coming out.
I talk to my Gamecrazy here and they're not taking any that I heard of recently...
