Mine did. I got it at Best Buy about......4 months ago.

Mine also did. It was my 3rd Xbox and the only one with a Samsung drive as well. It did have a weird effect though. I COULD NOT USE XBOX LIVE WITH THE NEW XBOX.
XBL worked fine on my other 2 xboxes but I had to get this one send in to Microsoft for some odd reason.

my bundle had the tomson drive :( I quickly id'ed the drive after i started it up and was pissed :(
