I need to cancel my gold account, problem is, I can't do it through the 360, any way I can cancel it through the xbox website? I don't even know how to synch up my gold account to my passport account.

Any help is apreciated

after 30 days it turns silver... need more info..

I'm pretty sure you have to call Microsoft on that one. I know you could cancel subscriptions sometimes back on original Xbox but I guess they changed it.

No it's a full one year dealie and for reasons beyond my control they charged me for another year :bomb: I recieved two emails from them, both had the title of "." and NOTHING in the body. I'm trying to email tech support now, but I need an help asap.

just call 1-800-4MY-xbox

The only way to cancel is call them 1-800-4MY-XBOX. I've canceled about 4 different accounts, and you also may be able to get your money back if your lucky.

yeah i figured this out the hard way, you HAVE to call.

Yeah, they tell you this on the website. You must call them in order to cancel. I guess they make you do this so they can try to talk you out of it, heh.

They spent about 10 minutes talking to me trying to get me to keep my account 3 hours before the trial expired, I had to make up some excuse about me selling my xbox 360 on ebay

Well I was not only able to cancel, but I was able to get a full refund as well. Thanks everybody!
