View Full Version : PGR 3 Speed Pack 400 points 4/17
http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2707&Itemid=2
The pack will be made available on Xbox Live Marketplace on Monday, April 17, and while the fresh roster of cars wasn't disclosed, Bizarre did say that the Ferrari 612 Scagleitti and the Aston Martin V8 Vanquish will certainly be included. The price will be 400 Marketplace points, which equals $5.
In addition, there will be some free content available which will grant access to upcoming tourneys, one free car and "enhancements and fixes" -- a rather vague reference, but it's free nonetheless.

It would be nice if they allowed you to pick your free car out of the, complete estimate, 8 pay ones.
Does anyone even play / own this game anymore?

I still own it I loved it, and this might get me playing again. I hope they add some more achievements though since it originally had only 900, and some of them were really hard to pick up.

I still play it. Matter of fact I just played yesterday.
It is one of the best online games for 360.

I prefer playing in the cockpit view since it lets me get into corners better, but online, I have to switch out to 3rd person especially in the first few corners 'cause I don't want to accidentally cut off someone or side-swipe 'em in a corner.

To be honest, I think is total BS having to pay for the upgrade. I've all ready dropped 50 on the damn game itself...fuck that

It pisses me off even more about the whole thing with Oblivion and the whole 200 points for horse armor. Even though I don't have the game or want it, it just pisses me off that people went and shelled out 60 or even 70 for the LE copy. I mean people just dropped 70 on your damn game and you want to charge them for something that comes free in mod communities on the PC.

Agreed. Such tactics go against the CAG lifestyle. I think a boycott is in order.
EDIT: "Content Must Be Free!" is now my XBL Motto.

Paying for content wouldn't be so bad if they didn't charge us $5 for freakin' cars is bullshit. Things like these should be alot less, tops for something like this should be 100 points and things like the horse armor should be like 25 points. Those 1600 points we buy should last us a year and we should get atleast 20 or so "add-ons" out of it (not including arcade games).

From what I have heard the PC version of Oblivion isn't getting off easy either. Not only are they charging for the horse mod there too but they purposely left things out of the construction kit so they couldn't be made by free modders and instead could be used to rake in even more cash. Games are going down a very scary path now with all this pay content.
