Well, I received my xbox live diamond card in the mail yesterday, along with it came a coupon for quiznos, which was buy one, get one free. I went there today and was told that they would no longer be accepting this coupon. WTF?! Why would they sign up to do a promotion if they don't even plan to go through with it. Quiznos is so full of crap.

The location is the Waterford Lakes Town Center in Orlando, FL.

Diamond Card? I haven't even gotten my warranty, which I sent in about, oh, 5 months ago.

Quiznos is always like this for me. I went in there with a coupon. They had a sign on the door stating "no coupons". It seems like since each one is independently owned, they can do damn well whatever they please. Needless to say I don't eat there anymore.

"I want to open up a McDonald's and not participate in anything..."

As for Quizno's, I've never had issues with them accepting coupons. Even the ones I print off the 'Net. You can almost always find a b1g1 coupon on the net via dealnews.com.

I stopped going to Quiznos after I saw that it cost about $10 for a large sub.

Ever since Subway got their own toasters, they've been my number one sub provider.

I think Quiznos lets each store sink or swim on it's own (once it gets the franchise fees of course) and couldn't care less what each one does.

Probably why, in the Lincoln Park area the past 3 years, there's been a half-dozen stores open and then go under 6 months later.

Quiznos has no sort of unilateral Customer Service Quality control. They're service varies WILDLY from Store to Store.

Plus it sux even more since they got rid of their Clam Chowder Soup!

Subway's "toaster" is essentially a large microwave. All I ever get out of that is burned bread and gummy cheese. My last sandwich was literally incinerated. :hot:

Quiznos is damned expensive though. Wouldn't eat there without one of these coupons.

I haven't tried my Diamond Card on anything yet...

I might try it at Papa John's this weekend. I'm not comfortable handing this card over to clerks... I'll pray to the heavens they aren't a "gamer", and won't talk to me about games for six and a half weeks straight or write my gamertag down.

A guy in the drive-thru at Taco Bell once talked to me for, like, five or six minutes because I was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt. Talking about metal, and the like. I had to cut him off with, "Look. I'm wearing this shirt as a joke. Nobody knows Iron Maiden past their tshirts or posters -- they fuckin' suck."

Thanks for the heads up.

Looks like I won't be trying it over at Waterford.

subways >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>quiznos at quality and price especially.

they wouldn't take my coupon for their monthly special which is such utter-shit. i went to one of the workers to show them the coupon before i ordered the special. they told me i could get it. then, when i went to checkout they told i couldn't use the coupon for special. so, i told them to go fuck themselves and i just walked out.

Pretty much anyone can open up a Quiznos. In fact, every now and then, they have a franchising infomercial on tv.

My quiznos always takes coupons, even the photocopied ones. Its a good deal if your buying for two with the coupon.

What's with all the quiznos bashing? I think they're food is fine. and all the ones i've been to have honored the coupons. ON The other hand the Subway here in westwood rejected a coworker's coupon after he filled out a survey.

What kind of cheap ass gamer pays $6 for a sandwich in the first place? Even 2 sandwiches for $6 is a rip and crappy sandwiches on top of that.

You think $3 per meal is expensive? Wow. Does your diet consist of nothing but ramen noodles and tang?

I'd rather buy a steak and bean burrito for $3 that is the size of a new born baby from one of my local taco vendors.

Really? That sucks. My girlfriend and I freaking love Subway and whenever we get a toasted chicken parmesan sub (our favorite), it always ends up perfectly toasted.

Damn, subway should really slip me a $20 for that free advertising :D

I was a manager at Subway for about a year, and they can be just as bad about accepting coupons, etc. It really depends on the location.

That said, I prefer Quiznos subs to Subway ones. Except, they're so damn expensive, I usually end up going to Subway for the Daily Special, so I don't get to eat much Quiznos.

I'm a GM for Subway. My stores take ALL coupons, including Quiznos. If anyone is interested and lives Chandler, AZ, I've got 5 locations. I could even work out a CAG discount.

If you're curious about Subway's toasters, they are actually part toaster AND part microwave. The only reason anyone would get a burnt sub would be that the employee has no clue how to operate the toaster.

Any employee caught burning a CAG's sub on my watch will be forced to eat it. The sub will be replaced of course...

Fastest delivery I've ever seen! Then again, this is a college town and the store is 2 blocks from my apartment... :)

Wanna buy a franchise in Chicago, preferably the Buffalo Grove/Deerfield/Northbrook 'burbs? I'm going to take a picture of the next sub I have annihil...erm, toasted and post it here. Stay tuned.

And I'd much rather have a loaf of carbon than the shoe leather that doubles for bread at Jimmie John's.

You got the card, you checked online and didn't see anything appealing. Seems like you answered your own question.

You guys sure know how to give someone the "munchies", lol.

It was the same old McDonalds $1 menu stuff for me again today......

I keep wondering when Burger King is going to have that $0.49 cheese burgers, $1 for a Double Cheese Burger Special. I can't stand their fries though, I usually get their burgers & stop for some Arby fries.

Oh yeah, nothing but 2-3 Subways here.
