Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (HOU), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - Austin, Sacramento, San Diego, AZ, GA, IN, NV, OR), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If I lived in SJ I'd be in heaven. It annoys me to no end that Frys does this.

What a weak ad. Perhaps it is time to go back to real conventional Cheapass gaming and jsut hooking myself back up to some MMO goodness. When I did this with City of Heroes I didint buy a single game in 7 months.

Wednesdays are always the 'iffy' ad for me. Sometimes, Fry's'll have a game I want at a great price. But more often than not, the game is not on sale (case in point: Tomb Raider).

Fry's is a 'little' far from me -- I like to be sure that I'm going there for a reason as to not waste the gas.

And now, I play the "weekly waiting" game.

Wednesday to Thursday night, I must wait for the Friday 4-day ad. More space, more days=more games advertised. But sometimes, the wait is too much. I often break down and buy a game at some other business, only to be mortified by Fry's lower price. I've been very lucky lately, as the games that I've been purchasing at other stores have not been lower at Fry's once Friday's ad arrives.

I'd put some money on the table that Tomb Raider will be shown in Friday's ad.
