I know it has *some* worth, but I can't find it for sale anywhere. I want to put mine up on eBay, but I can't find any others being sold, so I dunno what it goes for. Any assistance/estimates are helpful. Any interest in the game will be taken with a PM. Serious offers only.
If you don't know, this edition of the game featured seven extra e-reader cards that aren't available anywhere else, and the box had a slightly different label on it (to reflect the extra cards). It used to be worth a good amount of money, but perhaps interest in it died down with the ereader?

I'm looking to buy a copy of SMB3, but I don't really care about the e-reader or the cards since I have a DS. I'll probably pick up a used copy at the local independent game store eventually.

Is that what the case looks like?

It's worth more than the regular version sure - any interest in trading it?
Please CML is so.

Nope. Dunno if you can see it in this pic, but you should be able to. I took this about 4 minutes ago.

recently completed ebay auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/E-READER-CARD-LOT-Nintendo-Zelda-Pokemon-Mario-ereader_W0QQitemZ8273804022QQcategoryZ62053QQrdZ1Q QcmdZViewItem)
that link card is worth about $10 or $15 and none of the others are especially rare... so the value of that auction most likely came from the mario cards...
now, your picture shows the box that says it should come with 7 cards, but his auction is for 2 packs of 5... so i'm not really sure how that one works...
but this should give you an idea of how much the game + cards are worth... if your ebay auction is done right, you could possibly pull in... $60 or $70?

Thanks Doc. A followup google finds this CAG special from nearly 3 years ago. It shows that there are 5 special cards (three powerups, a level, and a demo of some sort).

I have two card packs in the game box, if you check the pic. One seems to have five, while the other has two.

The 5 'Wal-Mart' cards ARE valueable...but not much. I sold a Complete set of cards (Being the 2 packs and the Wal-Mart cards) as well as the BOX to the SMB4 Wal-Mart edition for $80 about..5 months ago.

I'd possibly buy the Wal-Mart only cards off of oyu if you'd be willing to sell. I've got all the others and wouldn't min a complete set.

I put it up on eBay late last night, but at any rate, I wouldn't sell the cards separately.
