I'm looking to buy a sports ticker, but don't even know where to begin looking. I dont want one where I like type in a message on it, I want one that will update scores automatically. Not through a phone line, but preferably ethernet or wireless network. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about an electronic sign?

Something like this right?
http://cgi.ebay.com/MOTOROLA-CP-1250-NEW-SPORTS-PAGER-NO-FEES_W0QQitemZ9710368983QQcategoryZ3314QQssPageNam eZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Just search eBay for a "Sports Pager" or "Sports Beeper", usually you don't have to pay any fees, just the price of the unit.

Yes, a big electronic sign that I can hang on a wall that just scrolls through scores.
and by big, i mean not huge, but like a ticker you would see in a bar or something.

Oh, I have no idea where you'd find that then.

I tried to track down what you are looking for awhile back and found it was almost imposible, so I gave up. Good luck on finding one that dosent cost you an arm and a leg.

you could always go to a bar that has one and ask where they got it

Usually you'd get a generic electronic sign, hook that up to a computer, and the computer will tell the sign what to say. I don't know how exactly its done, though.
Some vendors offer a monthly service where they'll update the sign with news and sports.
