The GMR subscription and pre-owned discount is $10. I think it's really worth it. GMR is a great magazine. It has cooler features on more obscure games compared to EGM and the writing is fairly entertaining. Every issue makes me at least chuckle.

How exactly are you supposed to score 1000, anyway? You need to hit 40 EB stores without missing any, however you probably aren't even going to pass 40 EB stores during an average game unless you move constantly at full speed. Meaning, that even if you did everything perfectly, you'll still probably fall short of 1000 points when the time runs out.

actually, theres more than 40 stores. quite a few more. i go about mid speed, and when i toss, i pull back a little and it curves the game into the store. Easy now, but still retarded

LOL, maybe so, but I just went through a game and counted, and I only passed 36 EB stores for the whole game. I went at higher than average speed for most of the game, except for when I passed a store I usually had to slow down to about average speed. Of course, I did miss a few along the way, and a few of the stores popped up right after I jump over an obstacle and I couldn't slow down in time to hit them, so I ended up in the 600s, but even if I had managed to hit every store I still would have only gotten 900 points. Unless my browser is making the clock count down faster than it should or something, I don't see how it's possible to score over 1000.:-k

Anyhow, thanks to whoever posted the coupon, for those of us who are apparently too weaksauce to beat it ourselves.

The coupon has a barcode. Can you still use it more than once? I thought that each bar code was special, so that if you printed dozens of copies of it you could only use it once.

Does your barcode say EBC3006244? If so it's the same. I'm sure it is anyway...and you could use it multiple times...they just are using the gimmick to get you to sign up your email address...which you could provide fake anyway.....

If you had gotten a better score you would have gotten 20% off....and this deal wasn't good for online really it was great for in-store....could be combined with GMR card for 30% off. But it's expired I doubt they'd take it.

This was old news....it's expired, brother. Expired July 3rd. It was easy to win the game for 20%, and you could combine with GMR for an extra 10%. But it's done.....
