For those who've beaten Golden Sun ...

Near the end before the last boss fight, Menardi says "Lighting Jupiter is virtually the same as lighting Mars." What the heck does this mean? I haven't gotten to The Lost Age yet, but as I understand it the two remaining lighthouses are separate in the second game and still have to be lit individually.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Take Jupiter ball, throw in light house, bam its lit. It's been a while since I played the Golden Sun games, but I think thats how it went, and that's where the second game ends. There are rumors of a third game for the DS, but I woulnd't hold your breath.

So to answer your question, its just leaving a little cliffhanger for you so you'll buy the sequel, then buy another sequel if they ever release it.

I think it was where the 2 characters got their power upgrades from (those 2 particular lighthouses).

I don't remember much about this game but I think that's what he was referring too. If not, don't read too much into what he says. It's probably nothing.

As for GS3 on DS... I've heard GBA/GC/DS. Nothing has been confirmed anywhere (sadly). Camelots only statement was they couldnt work on it after GS3 because of mario tennis (for GBA) and some other project they had going. But now that they're both finished one could only hope. This series is one of the best RPG's i've ever played so I hope they make a 3rd.

I finished the first with all the djinn thanks to the FAQ's. I started playing the second one but got bored with it somewhere around 7 hours in. I haven't played it in like a year.

They are working and have been working on a next gen RPG for some time. The question is what is it. Original or Golden Sun.

As for the question Jupiter and Mars users can tap into the others light houses power stream, or whatever, because the powers are related/work well together/Very similiar(something like that). Makes sense because Fire(Mars) and Water(Mercury) can't be used together very well.
