View Full Version : Xbox games with "Best" graphics?

Just wondering what Xbox games have the best to offer in the graphics department.
A little description why would also be nice.
ex. Halo 2, everything is all techy and shiney looking.

Gotta go with Ninja Gaiden. Everything that's supposed to be shiny is shiny, there's a good amount of detail in everything, and the style that permeates every facet of the game is outstanding. Everything runs at a constant 60FPS and Ryu's techniques are very well done. The only game that could realistically steal the best graphics title from Ninja Gaiden would be DOA Ultimate.

ninja gaiden does look pretty amazing.
chaos theory looks amazing but in a different way.

Chronicles of Riddick comes to mind. One of the first games to use normal mapping if I'm remembering correctly.

Ninja Gaiden by far in my opinion has the best graaphics on Xbox. I also think the detail in Panzer Dragoon Orta and Crimson Skies is very good as well.

I have to toss Forza out there with Scorch. And agree with ninja Gaiden Black. I always though Fable looked sweet. I need to dive into that game. Have both versions and never really played either...

Ninja Gaiden and Riddick are the best of the bunch. Two outstanding titles to show off your console.

Soul Calibur 2 looks awesome in 720p as does Amped 2.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Period.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is fairly mind-blowing, as well.

I would have to say Forza, Ninja Gaiden, and Doom3. Those games all have the wow factor in the graphics department.

I gotta agree with all of that. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Jade Empire had beautiful environments, but no game on the Xbox is even close to Ninja Gaiden graphically.

Thief and Ninja Gaiden are imo, 2 of the most beautiful games on xbox.

Ninja Gaiden IS the most beautful game on XBOX...period. Panzer Dragoon Orta is great looking too, as is Jade Empire (a little repetitive on the gameplay however).

DOA:U & DOOM 3... But IMO farCry takes the cake for this system...
I have to agree that Far Cry, Halo 2, SC: Chaos Theory, Ninja Gaiden, Forza, DOA:U and Jade Empire are all beautiful. Doom 3 is nice, especially in Hell, but it's so redundant that I never think of it as having great graphics.
I recently got Ghost Recon 2, and I am very impressed with its graphics.
The Burnout games and Project Snowblind weren't too shabby either.
