No, the price is $29.99 everywhere else I've looked and I won't even go into the GGC.

So after shipping, which is the best deal? This seems like a pretty sweet deal.

Even though some of us try to one up you with GGC deals, please know that the Nintendo loyalists (me) do appreciate your posting of Nintendo deals. Don't let them (and I think I've even done it once) get to you. Think of it as a free bump to the top when they do.

Seconded. I'm one of your biggest (albeit unspoken) fans on these boards, NFG.
Thanks for the heads up. Though I'm waiting for the price to drop on the EA site so I can use my newsletter coupon.

But really, best buy and B&M and the gamer card is your best bet so the game will be $15. I dont understand why some folks dont like the gamer card? Best buy offers it so people will shop in their sotre instead of another store. it is a good deal for them and for you.

That's the PS2 version, not the GC version. Both CC and BB online are out of stock of the GC version. If your local BB's GC stock is like mine, they won't have it either. We won't even go into Outpost.com. Shipping at Outpost.com for 1 game is $7.00 plus for me, they charge sales tax. Gamestop.com and EBGames.com sell the game for $29.99.

Shipping at Amazon.com for this game is $4.64 plus I am charged sales tax (WA state). I would say Buy.com is the cheapest place to order.

i gave links to the ps2 AND the GC versions being 19.99 to show it is system wide, not just one system got the drop to 19.99 but ALL 3 did, and yeah it is down to 19l.99 at ebgames brick and mortar, but by far your best deal is to use the gamer card at bb.
But if you like to pay 5-10 extra by all means, use your links. :P
EDIT: Sheesh, i just read your thread in the deal discussion forum saying how much you hate the best buy gamer card. I have 3 best buys within biking distance so I like best buy. IF you have no best buys near you then yeah, get the best deal you can get(which may be $18.99 + shipping using your links)

I just picked the PS2 version up last night, for $15 at BB. Before I open it up, though, I just thought I'd pop in here and ask if I'd be better off getting it for GameCube. Are there any MAJOR differences (like having 4-player support or anything like that) that make the GameCube version better, or is it pretty much the same? I kinda assumed they didn't add anything crazy to the GC version, but if they did I can just return my PS2 copy. Thanks!

The PS2 version has online play which the GC version doesn't, and more moves (due to 4 shoulder buttons). The GC probably has better loading times and better graphics. Anyone care to concur or disagree?

Here are the ratings according to gamerankings.com for all 3 systems:
GC 92.5%
XB 90.3%
PS 92.4%
As for the differences, that I couldn't tell you since I've never played any version of the game.
Dracula, no I don't live close to BB. The closest one is about 20 min away and the traffic is HORRIBLE, so for me, ordering online is usually better (unless I have to have the game NOW). I do have Fred Meyer and they price match.

Now I see why you got annoyed with the GGC, NFG. I don't blame you. Posting that it's cheaper with the GGC is stating the obvious.
Pfft. Men.

lol, looks like I'm losing out on 0.1% quality! DAMMITALL!
From what I've found so far, GC has slightly better loading time and slightly better graphics. However, the controls have been compromised a bit to make up for the lack of 2 extra shoulder buttons (to the pont of even removing a number of moves from the GC version) The majority of complaints I've read have been about that control issue.
Also, I heard that there are less music tracks, but I haven't been able to confirm that (although it is pretty likely).
Anyway, if this is all true that I think I'll take the slower loading times in favor of better, more complete control. The only thing that will really sway my opinion is if GC added 4-player split-screen, or some sort of GBA connectivity. If any of my info is wrong, though, please correct me.

Get either the GC or PS2 ver. GC has the better graphics and overall quality of presentation, while PS2 has Online and few more moves. The thing is though, there are so many moves already, i almost prefer having it be a bit simpler. But thats just me.

Correction-This was a universal price drop. EB now has it for $19.99. Gamestop.com's a little slow; still $29.99 there:
