I was just wondering if anybody knew of any place where I could download some free gamerpics and/or themes for my 360. I just picked up a transfer kit the other day and was wondering if there is anywhere I could do this so that I can get some new themes and pic. Or at least could tell me if this is possible to do even. So far all I have seen are game saves and rosters. I downloaded the roster for college hoops 2k6 and wow I must say it is so much better with all the names. Thanks in advance.

You can't create your own gamerpics and I doubt there are downloadable themes. I don't even think you can transfer in content like that.

thanks Scorch. I wasn't sure if it was possible to do that stuff or not. Sucks that you can't. It makes the transfer kit worthless unless you like to download the rosters like I do. Otherwise, it is kind of pointless to do the game saves.

Can you use it for XBox? If so, check out some XBox saves. There are hacked ones on codejunkies.com where you can play as the aliens in Halo.. you can even fire their guns and everything. I love it.
There are "free gamerpics" of sorts.. the pic I have is from Far Cry, I was able to use it just by putting Far Cry into the 360. So some games give you free gamerpics.

What site(s) do you have for game saves? I might pick one of these up.
BTW: There are some free themes and gamerpics on XBLM, just incase you didnt know.

Yeah, I think they are tied to your account anyways...that is why you could NOT transfer paid content.
There are a few FREE themes out there. MI:3, Nacho Libre, PGR3, Condemned (OXM) and maybe a few others.

There is a Pefect Dark theme that I downloaded for free. I also downloaded a Project Gotham 3 gamer pic and an Astin Martin car for free a couple of days ago. There is free stuff on there from time to time. You just have to scroll through all the downloads while keeping your eyes locked on the credits price.

You need a transfer kit to transfer data between the xbox 360 and your pc? I thought that the two could work together out of the box. (I don't have a 360 - I'm just curious).

Can you use the transfer kit to move original xbox saves?

To answer your questions.
1. If you play lots of sports games (mostly college) it is really great to be able to have all the roster names. You can also download game saves to help unlock levels and all of that stuff.
2. You can only stream music, pics, and videos from your 360 and PC.
3. You may be able to get Xbox saves onto your 360, but I'm not really sure.

So... this transfer kit is what I need to update the Option file on Winning Eleven 9? For the love of GOD! Can you say "SOLD!" I know I can!
