how do i get a code from my DS wi fi?

please help Can you explain to me how do I get a code & does this code stay with me? Does my DS issue it? is it going to be the same one (code) over & over again. Can someone please explain it to me. thank in adv.

it all depends on what game you are playing... it's different for each game, but after you log on once, the code is assigned to you. Just make sure to get online once and then look in the game's menus (usually in the friend options) to find your code for the game.
