I like using headphones while playing so as not to annoy the neighbors....but with the whole talking online thing, the Microsoft headset doesn't allow that.

Is there a way I can have a headset so that I can hear the in-game sounds but also use as a microphone for Live? Or is this completely out of the question?

Dam that is sweet but $100 is kind of pricey. I'll have to think about getting this though. Thanks for the link shadow.

You can find it for ~$75 on the internet. Check out Google's shopping section or any other price comparison service. We are cheap ass gamers, no?

Nice find Linkin!!

I think its cheaper because it looks like its the non-wireless version of the one shadow9689 posted.

I just bought the wired AXT and they work reasonably well. I have not tried them on live yet. Note that there is no volume control or mute function on the mic (this should be alleviated by an upcoming Nyko "Puck" adapter that will add those features to any headset for about $10).

I picked it up at buy.com for $50 with free shipping. It is about $45 at tigerdirect but you pay for shipping.

You can also adjust the volume on your dashboard, just press the :360: button and choose personal options and adjust volume from there or mute.

I've seen these in-store at BB but didn't pay too much attention. If I here good things I may look again.
