well since space isn't a commodity in japan most people walk/ride bike instead of having a car. so bikes are more frequent then cars so i'd imagine you'd get pretty tired of moving a bike for the 40th time every day.

that totally depends on the tow truck/tow truck company cuz my car got fucked up twice by the same company on two seperate occasions (one my fault, one a relatives). The one Japanese guy I used to live with in school always seemed to have a different bike that'd he'd bring in. He later told all of us after his usual 2 beers and done, that he would take them from different places around town.

He said he used to do that all the time in Japan-- Community bike.
