Only a few days ago did another member, Sockey, make a topic requesting a small clip of the 9-11 attack, to which you immediately responded with exactly what we were looking for. We needed the footage for an election propaganda project, and since the CAG community had a little part in the project, I found it only appropriate that the CAG community see how the final product turned out. So I will post both of the propaganda ads. But first a little bit of a background information to help understand the ads.

For our high school history class, me and Sockey had to create two election advertisements using a variety of propaganda techniques. We had to produce both a positive advertisement (encouraging voting for myself) and a negative advertisement (discouraging votes for my opponent, in this case George Bush). This explains all the text and such.

Which one you watch first is up to you. Just a word of warning, the negative ad is very depressing but the positive ad seems to be extremely funny to most of my friends, don't know about total strangers yet though, ha.

Oh and you'll have to stop and restart the program, otherwise it screws up on the first few scenes.

Positive ad (I'm the guy dancing around basically):

Negative ad:

And as a side note, don't give me any crap if you saw something you didn't like because guess what? I don't care. Having said that, I hope to see what else you have to say about them.

P.S.: Sockey did virtually all the animation. I just gave him the ideas.

heh, the "nathan with MLK" and "Nathan at Tiananmen (sp?) Square" parts were pretty funny.

for the anti-opponent commercial, I think you should put in a "vote me, not bush" kind of thing so that the commercial isnt so ambiguous

Yeah, specifically thanks to swetooth9, that clip was exactly what I were looking for.

The second one was better , the first one was a little too South Park-esque .[Most likely intentional , but overdone .]
I would not be able to tell the same person(s) made both .

I just checked out both vids and I think they were both really well done. The serious one was cleanly edited with good use of quotes and an interesting premise.

The positive one was actually pretty funny too. You can never go wrong with a dancing Jesus! And the historic photos were a nice touch.
