I have considered picking this game up several times before...is it any good? I really liked the old games, but is this up to that quality?

It's a good game, but I prefer the 2d Castlevanias. And when compared to similar 3D games, like Devil May Cry, I feel it is average at best.

I wish I was an artist on the Clerks animated series. I'm a big fan of Kevin Smith and the artists who did the series. Influenced by and similar to Chris Bailey and Stephen Silver, but that's actually my own style for cartoon art.

Yeah, his hair's kind of weird and I tried to emulate his real pic. Go to his www board then look at his profile then his homepage and there's a real life pic of him there and you'll see what I mean.

Lament of Innocence was nothing like SOTN at all. It was way too short, but it was better than the N64 Castlevania's.
BTW, wasn't Banky just a tracer?

Heh, yeah, Banky in the movies was an inker, but he ended up doing his own stuff (Baby Dave) later on.

I just got it 2 weeks ago for $17 used. It is a great game, esp. if you are a Castlevania fan. It is short - about 10 hours to beat with 100%. But it is a fun 10 hours. Easily worth $20 new.

oh boy, i just recieved the castlevania lament of innocence game w/ the music sampler CD

guys.. this soundtrack CD is sooo loaded

it has 13 songs from Lament of Innocence, 3 songs from Aria of Sorrow, and 12 songs from Symphony of N?ight..

a total of 28 classic castlevania songs from the game!! a true collector's item for Castlevania lovers!!
