Black DS lite or just bad pic of Navy lite

I would prefer a black lite over a navy so maybe we will hear something at E3 about this.

If you read the comments, there is a blue hue if you open it up in photoshop. I'm sure we'll know whether it is black or navy once someone just translates the text. It could be a custom black DS just for this contest though. If that is true, I'd be pretty mad knowing that a black DS Lite exists and I won't ever be able to have it. But yeah, translation of the text is the key. Anyone know japanese?

Does it matter? There are over 200 SP colors...dosnt mean they are available for retail.

Its navy blue. Done. No point in discussing. Nintendo has never mentioned different colors. Not to mention, how can a magazine have a picture of a so called black if there are no pictures on the internet.

Common sense. Its poor color and bad picture. Hell, the scanner the person used could have changed the coloring.

A new issue of Famitsu is out (Issue #907 to be exact), and according to a quick blurb on the usual visually overloaded pages, an actual true black DS is going to make a guest appearance somewhere in the world

Could be cool.....but in a Japanese mag it means little to me, since I'm not willing to pay extra to import a system. I just hope there are SOME kind of colors when the DS Lite debuts in the States. I'd hate to have wait even longer, but I don't think I want white (although strangely, I would love to have the white PSP debut here).

This is Navy BLue. Someone imported the image to Gimp and narrowed the color range. The Bicycle seat in the ad vanished (being it was true black) while the DS retained a blue hue.
