According to Kotaku, Sega is working on a Brain Age-rip-off for the PSP.
Now, imitation is the best form of flattery, but frankly, I find this both annoying and lame.
Not to mention, the reason Brain Age rocks is the touch screen, microphone, and dual screens. I don't know how the game would work on a PSP, but I can see it sucking pretty hard.

I'm sure it'll suck. When was the last time Sega made a good game? I think.. Skies of Arcadia in 2001?
It won't do anything like the DS version, PSP's fate is sealed in Japan at this point and though it may be able to gain a slight edge in the US or Europe, PSP is losing in all territories and will probably always be behind in worldwide sales.
Predictions from last year be damned.

It would be quite a different game without the touch screen and mic. It would just be a multiple choice quiz....

I love it. Everyone rips on games like Nintendogs and Brain Age for being gimmicky, useless software but sure enough they get copied.

Isn't there even a ripoff of Brain Age on DS too? Dr. Brain or something like that? At least it sounds like a Brain Age type of ripoff.

Yep, its been out for MONTHS in fact.
I picked it up last fall for around $25ish and played for a bit, but I got bored fast and went back to Mario Kart DS right away.
I haven't tried out the DS versions (I was waiting for the English releases), but doing simple math/counting problems on my PSP got a bit tiresome after a while...

I hope Sega's version will understand my pronunciation of "Blue" :)

I'm surprised no one has flamed the OP of that thread yet.
I'm not sure who is making the PSP dog game, but Sega is making a DS game that is similar to Nintendogs. C'mon Sega!
