I can't find this for Xbox anywhere. IGN reviewed it for Xbox but I went to EB/GS today and they said they only got the PS2 and PSP versions. Anyone know where I can get it for XBox? It isnt even on the EB/GS sites anymore. Checked on amazon they got one for like $50. MSRP of the game is $29.99

Well, it's out in Europe and this mysterious North American version has had me confused for a while. I'm definitely playing the wait-and-see game with this title until I know for sure whether there will be an Xbox version.

Rampage: Total Destruction is another one that is confusing me right now as one of the major sites actually wrote their preview based on the Xbox version, but it's nowhere to be seen either.

Yeah I don't understand that. I guess I will have to wait and see to. I was really looking forward to Outrun though and I dont want to settle for the PS2 version.

I don't think I've seen anything about an Xbox version of Rampage.

The Official Outrun 2006 site (http://www.sega.com/gamesite/outrun2006/en/) has an Xbox logo, but I haven't seen it available for sale at any store yet, online or B&M in the US.

Yeah I don't really remember anything on a Xbox version of Rampage either. The Outrun website has a link to buy it. It sends you to amazon. And they dont have the game in stock. You can purchase from other places but it list the price at $40 or more. The MSRP is $29.99.

That's what I'm mad about. I really would buy that game if it was on XBOX.

it looks like the new smaller xbox games are going to be in short supply. It's just like the last days of the dreamcast. So it may be worth jumping on the first deal you see for these games.

Like King of Fighter neowave, this game is hard to find new. Hopefully this trend wont continue.

Weird, the Gamestop site (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/www.gamestop.com) also has no information on the Xbox version. I don't wanna waste precious memory card space on the PS2 version http://www.smileyarena.com/emoticons/Invision/Blue_Fade/sad.gif

I'll still pick it up when it hits the $10 mark, even if I have to get it on PS2.

Well Gamestop reviewed only the PS2 and PSP versions but mention there is a Xbox version in those reviews. Also over on Gamefaqs it seems some people were able to get it. Some had luck at Best Buy and Target. So I'll check them out tomorrow. Worse comes to worse, NCSX has it online for $29.00 plus shipping.

eStarland (http://www.estarland.com/index.asp?action=redir&page=XBox&category=Driving&product=25802&q) has it in stock, as does Walmart (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4569568)

It's random as to which stores are stocking the Xbox version and which aren't.

I can't see it getting any better. The Xbox has been dead since the 360 came out in November and the market for niche games like KOF Neowave and Outrun 2006 is almost zero. Granted, Neowave was fantastic and this will doubtlessly better than the already phenomenal Outrun 2, but considering the market size, it's not surprising that these are available almost nowhere.

I'm not going to accept the graphically inferior PS2 version either... it's gotta be the Xbox version unless the PC version actually exists and ends up being better (which I doubt given the typical sloppy ports.)

Fry's has it, but for some reason they have it priced at $39.99 and on sale for $34.99.

Yeah, I'm not even bothering with Fry's when they've got the price fucked up like that...

I'm wondering if the Xbox version even has online play as nowhere I've looked, not the official site, not GameSpot, not xbox.com, mentions Xbox Live capabilities. They mention PS2 online play, and possibly PSP online (maybe just local wireless multiplayer), but not Xbox Live.

I would assume that it does given that Outrun 2 had online play and because Amazon's description says that there's online play... hopefully they didn't pull that out of their ass.

...still waiting patiently for Gamecrazy to get this...

Maybe it's a sign that there won't be an Xbox version?

I saw the xbox version today at Fry's. It has online play according to the box.

Read on Gamefaqs that be are playing it on Live so that should pretty much confirm it. I'm still wating for stores around me to get it. Nobody has it. Since Sears and Toysrus have it availble online I might go check them out tomorrow. Worse comes to worse I'll order it online.

That's good news, but not for $5 above retail.

I think right now your best bet is to order online. I been to every store around me that sells videogames and nobody got the Xbox version in.

Yeah some reason GS/EB won't be carrying the Xbox versions. It is out though. My friend ordered a copy and received it today. I was told by a GS employee that I was an idiot and the game did not come out for Xbox when I asked for the game. And then he tried to sell me Outrun 2. Sometimes I hate shopping there.

The ONLY place I was able to find this in Indianapolis is at Fry's. It's nowhere to be found at EB/GS, Gamerush (though BB DOES rent it, weird), Target, K-Mart, TRU, or Best Buy. I went ahead and bit the bullet at $35, because a) I love the original OR2 on Xbox and b) I bought the PSP version and it totally kicks tail.

The XBox version is really nice, looks great. Haven't played it online since my Live subscription ran out last year. Oddly enough, I tried to play the PSP version online and there's NO ONE THERE. I mean EVER. Sad, it's a great game.

It sucks that it's so hard to find. I want the game but considering Outrun 2 dropped from $40 to $20 in what, 3 months?, I figured I'd wait for the $19.99 price drop and GGC it at Best Buy. Now I'm not so sure I want to do that.

Damn... I'm torn between getting the Xbox version now or getting the PC version... the PC version will either be awesome, or end up a terrible port... ah, guess I have to wait till May 9th to find out.

It may show up at some point at Best Buy, but at this rate, I wouldn't hold my breath. My guess is that it will start showing up other places at some point though. It's a really good game, I like it a lot.

It's pretty amazing that the PSP version looks almost as good as the Xbox one!

I was told by my local Best Buy that the PSP version would show up around 5/2-5/4 (I ended up getting it at EBGames, totally worth the full retail price!). I keep hoping the Xbox and PS2 versions will show up as well, but who knows. I'm pretty close to just ordering the Xbox version online as to not miss it entirely.

... which means sometime next week it'll show up at Best Buy, probably mispriced for $9.99, just to rub it in my face. ;)

[Edited to add:] I just got back from BB (it's a quick walk from my work) and there are a bunch of PSP copies, so I asked about the PS2/Xbox versions, and they're not even in the computer, so the guy doubts they're getting any. (the PSP version was in their computers when I went down last week) I'd say order online ASAP if you want it... what is Sega up to? (I guess managing expectations, since Outrun 2 dropped in price like a brick)

Tronix (www.tronixweb.com) has told me they're getting a restock of both the Xbox and PS2 versions tomorrow. I put my order in, it's $29.99 for either platform and $4.30 shipping USPS Priority. (+ tax for NY) Not the cheapest deal but they're very fast and reliable in my past experience with them.

jr.com also had the Xbox version in stock. I would've ordered with them but they were $6 for shipping UPS ground, which takes a while to me (in CA).
