I'm thinking about picking this game up for xbox. Is there anybody on Live any more? Also, the gamespot review mentioned framerate issues--is it really significantly worse than the PC version? (I do have a decent PC, but I prefer to play games on the console.)

I do not think the framerate is that bad. It is usually a firm 30FPS.
Not many people do play online and most of the time they will kick you out of the room if you try to play with them.
I usually only play online with a group a friends I have. We try to play about once or twice a month, Duel or Death Match.

Why would they do this? Clan match? Does Jedi Academy not have an option for private games?

I personally love this game on the XBOX.
I wouldn't kick anyone out unless they were being a douche.
