Xbxo auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/Xbox-System-over-700-games-MUST-SEE-EXTRAS_W0QQitemZ8279854047QQcategoryZ62054QQssPage NameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
This guy is using a shill bidding account and various other scamming things in his other auctions.
If you look closely at the bidding history of the 0 feedback bidder, they have bid on two people's auctions. Three of this guys and two of someone elses. Oh, but wait, the other seller is in the exact same location as this seller. How interesting.
You will also see that one of the baseball cards he has listed is actually a vague listing for what actually seems to be a PICTURE of the card.
So far, I know of these ebay ID's that are all this particular scammer:

The xbox with 700+ games/accessories is not getting too many bids - $127. If it is *really* an Xbox with 700 games he's an idiot for not listing at least some of them or providing a picture. He's going to lose out big time if it is real.
Here's the description for what might be a "picture" of the card. And this think is selling for over $1000 right now!
Hi, and welcome to my auction! Just look at this picture, that's exactly what you're bidding on! What can i say besides WOW?? Albert Pujols is on fire, and this is one of the best things out there of him!!!!! This is something you definitely won't want to pass up, so buy it now! S&H will be provided by myself, so don't worry about that! And just remember when you're bidding, LOOK AT THE PICTURE! WOW
Also has "pic" in the auction title.
It could be legit, but sure sounds fishy - it would have kept me away from bidding, especially at those amounts!
More warning signs:
1) 0 feedback new ebay account selling expensive stuff
2) Doesn't accept PayPal!
There's no guarantee it's a scam, but I sure wouldn't bid on his stuff!

It's not 700 Xbox games, more like 700 NES/Genesis games on the hard drive. I though Ebay was smart and caught things like these.

If he had clearly said they were NES/Genesis games then eBay MIGHT have caught it - if someone complained. They aren't going to do anything about this vaguely described auction though. It seems people aren't getting fooled on this one though. That $1000 baseball card though... :-k

It is, trust me. That card if it was the card normally goes for thousands of dollars. And the xbox auction is getting shill bid up very fast if you look at the bidding history.
I emailed the current high bidder on it and he seems pretty oblivious to what shill bidding is. I tried to explain it, but who knows if it helped.
FYI-This is another reason why having an ebay account that I only use for buying is helpful. Even if I would get in trouble with ebay for auction interference, I still have my selling account active and could just make a new buying account. I just don't want to see someone scammed out of a lot of money. Sellers like this just piss me off.

Yeah, I like how he still won't state that you are getting the actual card. What a douchebag.

And if it IS real, then he's a moron for listing such a rare, valuable item with such a crappy description and using a brand new, 0 feedback account. He should have waiting till he got feedback on some of his cheaper items first - he'd probably get 100's of dollars more if so!
The xbox is up to $147 now - high for a used xbox but not outrageous. I wonder if the high biddder knows what he's getting (there's no revision on that one!).

Notice how all the cards he has are also on different surfaces, in other words they are almost 100 percent likely to be stolen pictures. Two of the cards he has up are some of the most expensive cards of the last few years, whats the chances he would be selling them as a new seller?

Is there even close to 700 Xbox games?

Actually in one of his auctions he said he had to re-list the items because the pictures were stolen from him. Makes it seem even more likely that he was the one doing the stealing.

If you look at the metacritic score order list, it appears there are 796 Xbox games (BTW, Drake is the absolute worst rated game and I am the proud owner of a sealed copy). So, theoretically, it is possible .
greendj27 - I noticed that as well. I guess that was his preemptive strike against someone noticing the same pictures in already completed auctions.
