Looks like Kojima will be showing his game for the Nintendo Wii at E3.

I'll be happy if it is at least half as exciting as Zone of the Enders or Metal Gear.

EDIT: Remember, post card is dated before name change.

The Konami's post card as recited by Nintendo's new spokesperson; a 7 year old girl.

Kojima is making a game for the Wii? Fuck, it gets better every day. I have never been this excited for a system before.

I think Kojima's one of the few developers I can safely say has not made a bad game...I'm incredibly excited about this.

RE. Only on Wii.

Of course, the Re could simply mean "ready", as in "ready to show off".

RE. Only on Wii.

Of course, the Re could simply mean "ready", as in "ready to show off".
It's in relation to the Wii's former name, as in:

"RETURN," "REARM," "REGALE," "REBIRTH," "RESPECT," "REFINE." In each of the words, the letters "RE" were conspicuously offset in red. On the back, and even less subtle hint was dropped. "The REVOLT begins, Tuesday, May 9. It's the battle for E3," reads the card before giving the details of the event.

Looks like we only have to wait until Nintendo's press conference to see what Kojima has to reveal. He also said it's targeting females specifically.

He also said it's targeting females specifically.

I predict a game that heavily uses the rumble feature of the Wangmote.

There is absolutely no reason to suspect that this has anything to do with Nintendo's console.. so I'm not going to put stock in gamespot's rumor. I'll get excited if/when something is revealed.

I'm almost positive Kojima said he wasn't going to start work on a Revolution title until MGS 4 was finished.

I'm pretty sure he said he started already. He was the first vocal proponent for the controller and said he couldn't wait to start back in Sept.

Oh yeah, and then there's the fact that the Gamespot article says that his game will be revealed on May 9, the day before the show starts, and the day of Nintendo's press conference. I think Sony and MS are the 8th and 7th respectively, since Nintendo is always the last to give their pre-E3 conference.

actually, Microsoft's conference is on the 9th also, as is Konami's own conference.

Which is why the title is "Kojima's game is ready for E3?" instead of "Kojima is making a game!" Honestly, I think RE used 50 times and in a different color is obvious enough. But they even added "REVOLT" in uppercased lettering. I would ask if they need to spell it out for you, but they practically are already.

Or Resident Evil RE REmake...after he announces that he's leaving Konami to work for Capcom which he told me he is doing.

It's RUMORED to be targeting females...but Hell, last itme he did that, we got MGS2. That, and I don't think Kojima is short-sighted enough to try and target just females (as the majority of gamers are male, and most "games for girls" turn out quite bad).

What are you talking about? MGS2 was obviously targeted for girls based on the uber-hotness of Raiden. Not sure if his whiny behavior was planned for the demographic, though. ;)
