i have an atari 2600 with 97 games and an NES with ~150 games some of specific interest to collectors (Glitched SMB3, you pause, count to 4, unpause, and you have star power) I've never used Ebay, so i don't know too much about it.. any other places i should put these fine systems up?..

eBay will likely get you the most people viewing your auctions. Be careful with eBay and Paypal, there are a lot of ways for people to get your stuff and then get your money back (chargebacks, saying they never received an item, etc).
You could try to sell your stuff here....depending on what you have, you might find a buyer without all of the hassle and fees from eBay.

well, its a first post... i didn't want to jump on here all like "BUY BUY BUY!..MAD GIVEAWAYZ! LOL!".. i've heard of ALOT of ebay scams, so i wanted to try and stray from that.. but if its not technically against the rules to try and sell in the forums i may give that a try.

There is a trading forum exactly for that purpose.
Although you might have better luck over at digitpress.com, they specialize in classic games.

Yes, I forgot to mention that.
Anyhow other videogame trading sites without 30 day limits:
gametz.com
tradegamesnow.com
digitalpress.com
I will warn you that it might be difficult to find people willing to pay before they recieve the item as scammers frequent trading sites looking to make a quick buck have made it difficult for new users to be trusted.
In the end ebay might be the easiest to go through, it's just a pain when you count the fees, annoyance of dealing with the typical ebay buyer who expects the item to arrive 5 days after purchase that keep some of us away from there.

For the most part, most of the people here are just here to trade and try not to make a quick. We do have an occasional few that do scam, but our handy dandy moderator shrike is pretty good on keeping a close eye on all the trades.
