they are all SNES rpg's, only released in Japan. I have them all on emulator, and all are japanese, and i can't understand it, so i can't play them. They are suppose to be very good, which is why i want to know if anyone knows of any translated versions.

Tales of phantasia and bahamut lagoon are translated. Mother 2 is earthbound. Magic knight rayearth was picked up for translation, no idea if it was translated, is a dead project, or is in the process of translation. Slayers is one I've been waiting for for a couple years. It wasn't done as of 6 months ago, and I just remember the guy doing it was a jerk (I e-mailed him once). Tactics ogre was remade on ps1, and it's essentially the same game I believe.

Some others may be, but that's just what I know off the top of my head.

Wherever you got the roms from in the first place ought to have the translated versions.

Magic Knights Rayearth was translated, and completely IIRC, Tales of Phantasia is the same as the GBA and PSX versions (I think), Der Langrisser is translated completely on some paths and there's been talk of a complete translation already done, but it needs editing supposedly.

Why dl the roms? You can get the translations anywhere (zophar would be a good start) and just patch it yourself.

SNES Star Ocean was translated as well. Most of these translation patches were available at Zophar's Domain ( www.zophar.net ) at some point. The website hasn't been updated in a while, but check their tranlsations section

The group who translated Star Ocean and Bahamut Lagoon among others was Dejap. http://www.dejap.com/
