Resident Evil Series Help....

After playing RE4 I had to check out the earlier games. I just now finished RE Deadly Silence on the DS. I loved it....no it wasn't RE4 but I'm really digging this series. It was nice to have no load times and being able to quickly skip door scenes. I also now picked up for the Cube:

Resident Evil Remake
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 0

I'm just curious about a few more of the games...Code Veronica X, Dead Aim, Outbreak 1&2, Director's Cut (PS1). Besides what I have what should I get? RE5 can't come soon enough.

if you can get Cv:X on the cube get it. i liked RE on the dreamcast. RE2 was the first game that i loved on the dc.
Dead aim was a spin off to combat re4 when it hit the cube. i read in egm that it was a subpar RE game.
if you have the psx pick up Director's Cut. it never hurts to have the classics around.

I played through CV on DC - it's a worthwhile purchase IMO

get CVX and then you're done. The others suck.

CVX is the only other one I would pickup. The rest aren't really part of the main series, anyway.

Yeah, you got the Best of RE series already.

for completion-ists....there's the Resident Evil Gaiden on the GameBoy Color, and Resident Evil Survivor on the PS1. (Both rank very poorly though)

I didn't play Outbreak 1 much but 2 was VERY fun, not sure how many people still play it online.
