I recently bought a working Dreamcast and probably will be playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 to death on it. Wondering what are good arcade-style controllers and or arcades sticks for the system? Links would be appreciated. Thanks!

You prolly won't be able to find it anymore, but the Agetec stick is the best I've tried. Your best bet is to just get a PSX-DC converter so you won't need to buy a stick if you already have one.

The agetec stick is the best stock stick you can get for the dreamcast. Pretty much the only place where you can still get one is ebay. Around $50, a little more if its in the box.

thanks!

I never owned an arcade stick when I originally had a Dreamcast a while ago. Though playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 isn't too hard on the regular pad, it can get really tricky with Marvel Vs. Capcom 1. Simply because that game uses 3 punch/3 kick buttons, harder to pull off the combos I want with Strider Hiryu.

I'll have to invest in that Agetec stick.

Theres a sweet 6 button pad for the Dreamcast called the 'ASCII Dreamcast Fighting Pad'. Its an official Sega branded 6 button pad that was only released in Japan. Its similar to the Sega Saturn pad in button and dpad design. I have one and it rocks for fighting games. A thousand times better than those cheap third party 6 button pads you see. If you can find one of these on Ebay, I would suggest picking it up if your at all into playing on a pad.

thanks! I've heard talk about those in other fighting game/Dreamcast threads. I might have to pick up one of those along with that arcade stick.

There's an ascii pad on ebay right now. It's set at a dollar right now with 5 dollar shipping. I'd bid on it but I don't have paypal.

I found another pad that doesn't require paypal. I'll see what I can do.

For any system ever, in my opinion. I love that stick.
