Hey guys, I just picked up an XBox Live 12 month subscription. When I put the code in it says the damn thing is invalid!!! Do I NEED to use caps when entering it in? I really hope I didn't get a bunk card.

It wouldn't hurt to try all caps, would it?
If that doesn't work, call the Xbox support line. I've heard of people resolving this sort of issue that way.

Also, read the code very carefully, they make them very difficult to read and i put them in wrong twice before...

XBL is down today until 5 PM central. They're doing maintainence (rumors say they're preparing for an update), so that might have somehting to do with it.

Also is you live in the US and picked the card up outside of the states it will not work. I created my original xbox live account when I was living in Canada. I am living in the states now, and I bougt some microsoft marketplace points here. The dang thing said invalid card number. I called microsoft, and they told me the only way to use them was to create a new, US xbox live account. gayness.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I tried to hop on this morning to attempt using the caps and saw it was down. If I get the error again I'll try calling tech support, hopefully they can get me on or give me a correct code.
