I keep going back to that shot. It does indeed look real time. That blows the hell out of anything the 360 could ever currently dream of doing. God almighty.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is being created by the team behind Kingdom Hearts 2 and will be an "extreme action game" that serves as the direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII and will appear on the PS3. The trailer for the game was done by the team that put together Advent Children.
3rd FFXIII game is a mobile cell game.

the prospects of an "extreme action game" by square aren't too promising though.

Jesus Christ... not so much the graphics-though they are pretty- but you gotta be fucking kidding me! 12 isn't even out yet and they've already anounced the SEQUEL to 13!? How about they get 12 and Dirge of Cerberus out the door before they start stroking themselves over how great 13 is going to be. Talk about fucking arrogance.

kinda jealous.. I love kingdom hearts, a final fantasy with that style of battle system would be right up my alley.
I look forward to it when I get a PS3 in 2010. LOL

WOW DAMMIT THAT LOOKS FUN! FFXII? BLAH! Looks like more of the overdone FF gameplay that needs redone (been playing since '92, very bored with it now)... and XIII looks like it's gonna fit the bill! Combine that with the recent footage of MGS4 and the PS3 is starting to look pretty buyable!

...but it had the same HUD as usual. it was just more neon-y :lol: I do want it though.

Thems sure is some shiny graphics.
Maybe it'll distract me from the fact that FF11 and 12 made the franchise dead to me (yes, I dont care that 12 aint out in the US yet. Auto-attack for the lose.). Or that FF7-FF10 had the same basic character types and I doubt FF12 or 13 is gonna change it.
They better bring the series back to old school turn based difficulty. I want to actually have to think in random battles. I want to have to make sure I saved before a boss fight. I want to fight and struggle for my story, not just have it handed to me.
